How to Write an Essay About a Person

Writing a personal essay requires you to focus on both the key points of information to be conveyed as well as the many details which make the narrative essay interesting.

To write an essay is not an easy task by itself, but it’s even more challenging, when the main topic of your essay in a person and his/her life journey. It requires a lot of thought, logic, and certain amount of observation to make a successful essay. Here are some basic tips that might help you to make writing an essay a more manageable mission.

Do Research

The very first step you should take when starting to write an essay is to gather all necessary and useful information by conducting research, but where possible an interview is relevant.  If you are writing about an important historical figure or just a famous person, then observations can be made and recorded to facilitate referencing.

Introducing the Essay

After you found all necessary information about a person, your next step should be reflecting how you feel about that particular person. For instance, highlighting on an important episode in the life of the person is a good starting point. Essentially, this makes it easier to get the readers attention and provide direction.  Also you can just buy an essay cheap and it will provide the point of view how to write about a person.

Emphasizing on Details

After introducing the person and the subject, laying emphasis on details surrounding a person’s life or actions helps to link up ideas. Significance of the subject/character

It is crucial to state what you have learned about the subject, and whether this has had any impact on your lives.  The setting and character should be easily identifiable to give an impression on the intended purpose about the person. In other words, does knowing about the character affect one’s point of view, or does the character set an example for others to follow. At other times, the subject could be a villain, and hence there is a need to understand the circumstances that enabled their actions.

Reflecting on the impression made

After highlighting on the subject, you should reflect on the writing, highlighting on choice of the subject. Emphasizing on the dominant impressions, and highlighting actions that symbolize the chosen idea helps to provide a character sketch.
