Sources close to the celebrity couple revealed to reporters that Mila and Ashton welcomed their first child on Tuesday. Kunis reportedly gave birth to a baby girl at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
The little girl’s name has not yet been revealed, and no other details have been made available.
Both Kunis and Kutcher reps were unavailable for comments on the issue.
The famous duo, who got engaged in February, have kept silent about pregnancy details, although the 31-year-old actress did share some information about their birthing plan in Marie Claire’s July issue.
“Two people are allowed in my delivery room. My doctor and my significant other,” she said at the time. “And he [Kutcher] is staying above the action. He’ll be head to head. Not head to vag. Unless he wants to risk his life and see. But I wouldn’t if I were him. I highly doubt he wants to see that being ripped apart and shredded. Because it will be shredded. It’s just a matter of how badly.”
The former “That ’70s Show” co-stars are looking forward to raising a family together, with Kunis telling Marie Claire, “I just don’t want my kids to be assholes. I feel like so many kids nowadays are. Both of us just want to have well-behaved, honest, nice children who people meet and say, ‘That’s a good kid.'”
The couple was impressed the baby news remained a secret for so long, and Kunis is now making plans for her big day – and she is adamant she wants a natural delivery.
“We watched a couple of documentaries and we looked into the… midwife aspect of it and things, and spoke to my OB/GYN and realized that the hospital that I’m going to be laboring in does a midwife, you know, doula type of thing,” Kunis told Ellen DeGeneres about her plans with Kutcher. “So I’m gonna do it as all-natural as I possibly can unless there’s an emergency or something.”
Back in May she admitted that the couple already have a name picked out and that because Mila is bilingual, Ashton is now taking Russian lessons twice a week to learn. The actress also shared that she’s having obscene cravings for vinegar-based food.
“I eat sauerkraut all day long,” she admitted.”This is the worst craving to have, because sauerkraut smells and every time you open up the jar, it just reaks in the whole kitchen,” she said, adding that she also craves pickles. “So, vinegar based food is what I’m craving, I guess.”
To the delight of Ellen’s studio audience, Kunis also said Kutcher has been more than helpful in accommodating her peculiar gastronomical requirements.
“He assumed that I was going to have goofy cravings,” she said. “So he stocked our secondary fridge with weird food. Just, like, pickles and sauerkraut, or like anchovies and ice creams. Just in case at one point during the pregnancy I’d be like, ‘I really want something!’ ”
And as fate would have it, the fridge recently served its purpose.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God, I need a pickle’,” said Kunis. “It was just the weirdest thing. I needed this pickle and he was like, ‘Hold on a second’ and disappeared in the backyard and came back with the most amazing pickle of all time.”
