They are truly deserve to be one of the most famous and beautiful couples not in showbiz only but also on the Earth, rarely allowing a glimpse of anything but the picture of a marriage and partnership that is constantly, blissfully happy.
However, sources familiar with the matter and who stay close to the celebrity couple revealed to reporters that all is not well — and hasn’t been for quite some time.
This is the first peek behind the firewall that is Beyoncé and Jay Z Inc. — what drew them together, why they’re now moving towards filing divorce papers and why love was never the thing that held them together.
“There’s still something there, even though it’s not going to last,” says the source. “Business is always part of the equation. They know they’re the king and queen of hip-hop — and really, all of music. Neither wants to lose that.”
Their “On the Run” tour which is now in the very middle of scedule is predicted to bring Beyonce and her husband $100 million, Forbes calculated — which also ranked Beyoncé the world’s most powerful celebrity of this year, with Jay Z ranked sixth. Billboard ranked the couple No. 1 on their February 2014 Power 100 list. Their combined net worth, according the International Business Times, is nearly $1 billion.
However, a few weeks after Beyoncé’s sister Solange attacked Jay Z in a hotel elevator, the couple’s tightly controlled image has been crumbling. And while they’ve been pushing back, kissing on stage and playing happy family on Instagram, the source assures that Jay and the queen of r’n’b are permanently broken, and that both are at fault.
“Knowing them as I do, obviously there’s a little something to certain rumors,” the source says. “When your man or your woman isn’t getting it done for you, and I’m talking emotionally, not necessarily sexually … they keep things quiet.” Not for much longer.
The source went on, adding that Solange’s elevator behaviour came after she concluded the rapper was planning to meet Rihanna later at a club without wife Beyonce. ‘Solange was like, “Enough is enough – you must be [screwing] Rihanna,”‘ the insider said, adding: “To many people who know them, they know it’s not out of the realm of possibility.”
Rihanna and Beyonce have been always considered as rivals, with the ‘I Was Here’ singer giving a somewhat cryptic response when asked about the Barbados-born star back in 2011.
“There is room on this earth for many queens. I have an authentic, God-given talent, drive, and longevity that will always separate me from everyone else,” she told reporters once.
“I’ve been fortunate to accomplish things that the younger generation of queens dream of accomplishing. I have no desire for anyone else’s throne. I am very comfortable in the throne I’ve been building for the past 15 years.”
Meanwhile, another source revealed to the media that it is not a matter of if but how Beyonce and Jay Z will split. Currently the only time they spend together is on their joint On The Run tour where the newspaper alleges they are travelling with marriage counsellors.
