Shia LaBeouf, Wearing a Ripped Shirt, Released After Arrest [Video]

Shia LaBeouf has been released from police custody after being arrested for disrupting a performance of Cabaret in a New York theatre.

The star of Transformers movies has been released by the New York Police Department after authorities say he was taken out of a New York City theater for being disorderly and yelling obscenities.

Shia LaBeouf, who appeared to have been drinking, caused a disturbance in the Studio 54 theatre on Thursday night, then used obscene language and became belligerent after security guards asked him to leave, according to NYPD spokesman George Tsourovakas.

“There were threats made inside there, which caused him to be escorted out of the location, and then once we arrived there were threats and a disturbance on the sidewalk which caused him to be arrested,” said a second NYPD spokesperson, detective Marc Nell.

Law enforcement sources told the New York Post’s Page Six that LaBeouf was slapping people on the behind and in the back of the head and also smoking in the theater. When police approached him, he was reportedly “incoherent” and “very agitated.”

At the police station he reportedly told officers: “F*** you. I’ll f*** you up. I have millions and millions of dollars and attorneys… I’m going to ruin your career.”

The actor left a Midtown court appearance on Friday morning wearing the same ripped blue T-shirt, skinny jeans and boots as the night before. He had appeared before the judge with a Legal Aid attorney and said nothing. The Hollywood star walked several blocks to a hotel surrounded by media but declined to comment.

Before the accident occurred, LaBeouf had spent  the afternoon drinking margaritas at Iguana Bar in Midtown and watching Belgium play South Korea in the World Cup.

A bartender revealed to TMZ that the 28-year-old actor showed up at 1p.m. and had two or three drinks but no food. He was polite and tipped well, the server said. He also told the bar staff that LaBeouf wasn’t a big soccer fan but wanted to be patriotic because he had Belgian family.

Actually, it’s not the first time the actor has troubles with the law. The first accident with the troubled actor happened in February 2005, when LaBeouf was arrested by police in Los Angeles and charged with assault with a deadly weapon, after he threatened his neighbor by driving into his car. LaBeouf then allegedly appeared at his neighbor’s front door wielding a kitchen knife hours later.

Then in 2007 former child star was arrested at a Chicago Walgreens store for refusing to leave after security requests. He was charged with criminal trespassing, though the charges were later dropped by the store.

He was once arrested for drink driving in West Hollywood, after he collided with another vehicle and rolled his pick-up truck, and briefly detained in 2011 after an altercation with a drinker at the Mad Bull Tavern in Sherman Oaks, California. No charges were filed, but the Los Angeles Police Department did briefly detain him, says Independent.

LaBeouf is nows for suche movies as “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” ”Disturbia” and “Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.” He does not appear in the latest “Transformers” installment, “Age of Extinction,” which hits theaters Friday.
