The gorgeous Adriana Lima is brining football to every home with Kia. The Korean car manufacturer, which is the official sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, has launched its own campaign titled “For One Month, Let’s All beFtbol Fans” to promote the major sports event together with Brazilian beauty.

Kia released a series a commercials featuring Adriana Lima slow-motion walking onto the scene to convert new fans to soccer. In funny and sexy ads the Victoria’s Secret Angel drives the 2015 Optima midsize sedan and Sorento CUV.

In 30-seconds clips, created by David & Goliath, Latin American supermodel refers to all her charm to convince fans of American football and NASCAR to watch soccer at least for the duration of the FIFA World Cup.

The video called “Man Cave” features some guys are chilling and watching baseball in their garage man cave when Lima shows up with some sexy helpers of hers and changes the channel to soccer and replaces all football and baseball memorabilia with soccer stuff. The astonished guys sitting wide-eyed are not even trying to stop the girls, as the clip ends with the tagline, “For One Month, Let’s All Be Fútbol Fans.”

The initiative, which includes TV, print, digital, social, point-of-sale and radio components as well as Kia serving as the presenting sponsor of pre-match shows on ABC and ESPN, marks the second time the brand and Lima have teamed up following her memorable role in 2012’s “Drive the Dream” Super Bowl commercial, the automaker said in its press release.

The three spots will launch in both Hispanic media and general market TV on Thursday 6/12, running on all ESPN properties for six weeks.

“Soccer’s popularity in the U.S. is growing rapidly and as Official Automotive Partner of the World Cup we have a unique platform to showcase two of Kia’s most popular vehicles to the sport’s passionate and diverse fan base across the country,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president of sales and marketing, KMA.

“The reaction to Adriana Lima’s appearance in ‘Drive the Dream’ was overwhelming, and with the World Cup being staged in her home country of Brazil and her love for the game it was a natural fit to partner again and add a bit of glamour and humor to our ‘ftbol’campaign.”

The FIFA World Cup is considered one of the biggest single-event sporting competition in the world played every four years since its establishment in 1930. FIFA World Cup 2014 is to take place in Brazil from 12 June to 13 July 2014. The next two World Cups will be hosted by Russia in 2018, and Qatar in 2022.

Recently the Worlds Cup has been surrounding by controversy and scandals in regard to cases of corruption and bribery surrounding the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar, which has drawn rebukes from some of the world football body’s biggest sponsors.

The scandal has sparked calls for a re-vote and led five of FIFA’s biggest sponsors – Hyundai, Coca Cola, Adidas, Sony and Visa – to demand a full investigation.
