It appears the NY Post is not such a great fan of the America’s newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, as the paper published the worst wedding announcement.

The 55-words-piece on Kimey nuptials that took place in Florence, Italy, is attributed only to “Post Wire Services,” and states:

“Two jackasses got married in Italy Saturday. Sex-tape star Kim Kardashian, 33, wed egotist Kanye West, 36, in a wedding opulent enough for Florence’s Medici dynasty and tacky enough for reality TV.

“They were betrothed at Florence’s 16th-century Fort di Belvedere castle. Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle. The republic still stands.”

The printed version may not be impressed with scale of the event, but at the same time paper’s site published at least 17 pieces related to the wedding, including a look inside the rehearsal, the bachelorette party, and the ceremony itself, and a rather interesting toast to the happy couple.

Earlier this week the publication also issued a “brutally honest toast” in honor of their upcoming wedding. In the article, NY Post Reed Tucker mocked their very humble wedding, A-list guests, as well couple infamous past.

“You guys have everything a couple needs to keep a marriage strong. You have love and class and talent, and above all, high name recognition among the coveted 18-24 demographic,” Tucker wrote in the article.

“So let’s all raise a glass of champagne — and Kanye, Biebs wanted you to have this sizzurp — to Mr. and Mrs. West. May the TV writers never pen you out of each other’s lives!”

At this point, the couple have not yet commented on the articles, as on Sunday they landed their private jet in Ireland for a five-day “secret honeymoon” Sunday, according to Ireland’s Independent.

The newspaper says, they arrived at Cork Airport with an entourage of personal assistants and bodyguards, and were whisked away in a phalanx of Mercedes limousines.

Kim’s mother Kris Kardashian and her husband Bruce also honeymooned in Ireland following their marriage in 1991. The Kardashian clan suggested holidaying in Monaghan’s Castle Leslie resort last year for their reality TV show, but passed up the idea last-minute for luxury destination Bali.

The lavish wedding took place Saturday in Florence, Italy at the historic Forte di Belvedere and was performed by Rich Wilkerson Jr., a pastor from North Miami.

The bride and groom wore custom Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci, as well as their 11-month baby daughter Nori. The gorgeous bride was walked down the aisle by Bruce Jenner while Andrea Bocelli sang “Con te Partiró”. John Legend also serenaded the couple inside their wedding reception, singing “All of Me.”

Among the notables sighted arriving in Florence ahead of the nuptials were Steve McQueen, director of Oscar-winner 12 Years a Slave; Lala Anthony, wife of NY Knicks basketball star Carmelo Anthony; Jaden Smith, the teenage son of Will and Jada Smith; and Joe Francis of Girls Gone Wild fame.

Unfortunately, there have not been released any official photos from the wedding, although many pictures made by guest are floating around the Web.
