Kim Kardashian’s ‘Dream’ Vogue Cover Spoofed by Seth Rogen, James Franco

Seth Rogen and James Franco, who spoofed Kanye West’s ‘Bound 2’ music video that featured his fiance Kim Kardashian, have once again mocked the couple’s latest Vogue cover.

The comedian recently tweeted a hilariously photoshopped image of his and Franco’s faces superimposed onto the bodies of Kardashian and West. Photo: Seth Rogen/ Twitter

Seth Rogen and James Franco did it again, as the hilarious Hollywood friends simply can’t stand aside in the case of Kimey.

The two have already made us laugh with their brilliant version of Kanye West’s and Kim Kardashian’s steamy “Bound 2” music video, where Franco took the role of Kanye, rapping in a multi-layered flannel and driving the motorcycle, and Rogen, 31, was Kardashian, who ended up topless and on Franco’s lap by the middle of the video.

So, it’s not a surprise when after release of the Vogue’s April issue starring the 33-year-old reality star and her soon-to-be husband Kanye West, Rogen and Franco decided to have fun with the style bible cover.

The actors shared their own vision of how the Vogue should look like by photoshopping themselves into the cover shot, keeping Kim and Kanye’s bodies intact but replacing their heads.

The co-stars of the “This Is the End” both boasted their beautiful creation on social media, as Rogen tweeted the image, saying “It had to be done,” and Franco posted it on Instagram captioned “Seth! Love you, dog!”

However, Franco and Rogen are not the only ones, as the Muppets also joined in on the parody fun, featuring Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog in their best wedding day attire.

Miss Piggy was dressed to the nines in a meringue-style wedding dress while handsome Kermit wore a black suit. They said: “Vague” brings you Kermiggy the #UniversesMostTalkedAboutCouple”

The original April issue of Vogue, whose cover image was taken by famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, includes the hashtag #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple. The issue hits newsstands on March 31, and is available via digital download for tablets on March 24.

Kardashian has been widely criticized for her wedding themed feature, which also includes daughter North West, and even actress Sarah Michelle Gellar said she would be cancelling her subscription to the magazine. And following its release Friday, Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Twitter share her disappointment over editor Anna Wintour’s cover selection.

“Well……I guess I’m canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???” she wrote.

There was speculation about Yeezus musician begging the Vogue editor-and-chief Anna Wintour to land his Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star fiancée on the cover of Vogue for several months. However, it was rumored that she resisted Kanye’s request, but in a statement 64-year-old Anna claimed she didn’t hesitate to feature the couple.

After wave of outrage over the magazine’s April cover featuring Kim Kardashian, Wintour even defended her choice to feature the controversial couple on the world’s most influential fashion magazine saying that “part of the pleasure of editing Vogue … is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it”.

“I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye,” she said. The cover, which Wintour found “both charming and touching”, was “entirely our idea”, she said.
