Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher are going to be parents, as the actress is reportedly expecting her first child with her 36-year-old beau, multiple sources claim.
The “That 70s Show” actress has been the subject of pregnancy speculations ever since the news about the couple’s engagement broke out. Although the couple are yet to officially confirm their engagement, Kunis has been seen wearing a giant engagement ring in the past few weeks. She was first seen sporting the diamond ring on February 27 while out shopping with her mother.
The “Black Swan” star has recently fueled speculation about her pregnancy after being spotted holding hands with her fiancé, wearing a rather loose fitted top that cloaked the shape of her stomach. She sported a grey long-sleeved sweater over a white top, teamed with blue skinny jeans and black ankle boots.
Kunis, who has just signed on to be the global spokesperson for Jim Beam, has also been seen attending a prenatal yoga class in Hollywood. And recent rumors have claimed the couple were expecting twins, but sources close to the couple say that they’re only expecting one little one.
One source says Kutcher is “very happy” with the news of his fiancée’s pregnancy and that “this is something they both wanted,” although he still remains resolutely private about his personal life.
“Ashton has been very private and cut off more than he usually is,” the insider said. But, the “Two and a Half Men” star has been chatting with a longtime pal who is newly-familiar with fatherhood.
Kutcher told Elle magazine in 2013 that it was beneficial to keep certain areas of one’s life private, saying, when he was asked about Kunis: “I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship be private.”
Kutcher and Kunis, who played self-absorbed couple Kelso and Jackie on “That ’70s Show,” started dating in 2012, a year after Kutcher’s split for his ex-wife Demi Moore. He shares no children with Moore, although Kutcher did grow close to the 51-year-old star’s three daughters during their marriage.
Now the sweet lovebirds are deeply on love and even preparing to tie a knot, they apparently weren’t too fond of each other back in their “That ’70s Show” days. As an old friend of the couple shared with RadarOnline that “Ashton and Mila were absolutely not friends during much of the making of That ’70s Show. In fact, they couldn’t stand working together.”
The insider added: “The two were never close on the set. Quite the opposite!” adding that apparently after Ashton’s split from wife Demi Moore, “Mila was the one who came forward to bury the hatchet. She could see Ashton was going through a tough time and reached out to him. They built a solid friendship, which was a new thing for both of them.”
The source continued: “Everyone’s amazed at how different Ashton and Mila are together [now] from when they were younger. It’s such a total change and now they’re a match made in heaven – something that no-one could have ever predicted in their wildest dreams back then!”
