The 29-year-old actress is expecting her first child with fiance Romain Dauriac, reports claim.
Rumors of Johansson’s pregnancy surfaced a few months later after the rep for the celebrity confirmed to reporters her engagement to French journalist Dauriac. The couple first went public with their romance in November 2012.
Back in January on Good Morning America Scarlett admitted that their wedding was “far off.” “I’m not doing any wedding planning,” she revealed at the time.
The ‘Her’ star is about five months along, claims TMZ, which cited sources close to the couple.
“On February 28 the beauty was glowing as she stood next to her Romain while on the red carpet of the Cesar Film Awards in Paris,” The Daily Mail reports. “Though the stunner looked trim, her stomach appeared to be popping out a bit, causing the bottom part of her jacket to push out.”
Johansson, who was preevuously married to Ryan Reynolds, revealed in the October 2013 issue of Esquire that her new boyfriend helped make her a less jealous person.
“I didn’t think I was a jealous person until I started dating my current, my one-and-only,” she shared. “I think maybe in the past I didn’t have the same kind of investment. Not that I liked my partner less, I just wasn’t capable of it or caring that much.”
She went on, speaking of her new fiance: “Look, I’m with a Frenchman. I think jealousy comes with the territory. But I’d rather be with someone who’s a little jealous than someone who’s never jealous. There’s something a little dead fish about them. A little bit depressing. It may not make sense, but you need to feel it a little.”
Last year the stunning actress seven years after being named Esquire magazine’s sexiest woman alive earned the title for a second time.
Last year, Mila Kunis wore the sexy crown. Rihanna won the year before that, preceded by Minka Kelly, Kate Beckinsale, Halle Berry and other equally hot Hollywood beauties.
“Well, you know… I am a movie star,” the 28-year-old stunner says in an interview with Esquire Magazine for its November issue.
Johansson knows this might be her last time taking home a title like this because she’s in an industry that ages actresses quite quickly.
“You know, I gotta hustle,” Johansson said. “I’m a 28-year-old woman in the movie business, right? Pretty soon the roles you’re offered all become mothers. Then they just sort of stop.”
But she wasn’t always fawned over by casting agents. In a recent feature with Interview Magazine she revealed that her voice originally lost her roles.
“There was someone in my older brother’s class who was doing some commercials and theater, so my mom took me to that kids agent because I loved musicals. They didn’t want me though. I was devastated. I thought it was the end of my career.
“That’s when I realised that by crying I could get whatever I wanted. I was always terrible at commercials because my voice was so deep. At the age of 9, I sounded like a whiskey-drinking, chain-smoking fool. Wasn’t going to sell Jell-O with that voice.”
