Someone is just too proud to sit down! The slimmed down Jessica Simpson has posted a behind-the-scenes sneak peek at her new Weight Watchers commercial, standing proud with her hands on her curves.
In the sultry black and white shot the blond bombshell wears a black, form-fitting halter dress while leaning against a door. Simpson poses behind a chair labeled “Jessica’s chair,” wearing her signature blond locks down and loose around her shoulder.
She captioned the shot “Too proud to sit down!! Behind the scenes of my new commercial. Thanks @weightwatchers.”
The “With You” singer has been a spokeswoman for the weight-loss brand since 2011, and has used it as a platform to tout her health and nutrition during and after the births of both of her children with fiancé Eric Johnson — daughter Maxwell in 2012 and son Ace in 2013.
Simpson has been very open in the past about her pregnancy weight gain and her attempts at weight loss, mainly through Weight Watchers. After her first pregnancy with daughter Maxwell, Simpson lost 60 pounds on the point-oriented diet.
“I’m not a supermodel. My body is not bouncing back like a supermodel. I’m just your everyday woman who is trying to feel good and be healthy for her daughter, her fiancé and herself,” she said at the time.
During an appearance on Good Morning America last month, Eric Johnson’s ladylove talked about how the weight loss program helped her to shed those pregnancy pounds.
“I believe in it with all of my heart,” she told GMA lifestyle anchor Lara Spencer. “It’s a lifestyle. I’ve tried so many different diets, and you can only stick to something for so long. I feel like with Weight Watchers, it just becomes a part of who you are.”
She then also she revealed that she and Johnson, 34, may finally be ready to walk down the aisle. The ex-wife of Nick Lachey is engaged to former NFL tight end Eric Johnson, the father of both her children.
The Dukes of Hazzard actress plans to finally walk down the aisle with her 34-year-old beau this year.
“The new year will definitely bring on the wedding bells, which is exciting…I think it’s about time,’ the mother-of-two told People magazine.
“Knowing that I have the wedding coming up is an incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, count my points and stay in the gym. I mean, when you see my dress, you’ll know.”
Lately the star, who rose to fame as a singer and actress has now put her focus on fashion design. Her clothing line has been the most successful celebrity fashion line ever.
