It looks that the arrest taught Justin Bieber nothing, as the 19-year-old singer was spotted partying in Punta Chame, Panama, to escape his grim reality.
The troubled star was accompanied by the 21-year-old Chantel Jeffries, a model who was with the singer when his yellow Lamborghini was pulled over by police in Miami for drag-racing on Thursday morning. The new photos, first emerged on Bieber fan accounts on Twitter, show shirtless Bieber having fun on the beach with his gal pal Jeffries, and two other members of his entourage — one of whom appeared to be carrying a beer bucket.
Another set of pictures feature Justin going through immigration at the airport with a blonde woman by his side. Fan account JustinBiebercrew.com also shared a picture of Justin in the water and wrote “Justin’s doing watercraft in Punta Chame, Panama.”
However, Justin’s trip to Panama was not what people close to him expected. His mom, the 37-year-old Patti Mallette, is said to be “extremely upset” by his DUI arrest on Thursday morning, says the Daily Mail.
She stayed at home and did not fly to her son’s side in Miami, but a source admitted she had not been able to get through to him over the past few weeks, adding: “Justin is not listening to his mother and he’s been trying to avoid dealing with her and other people in his camp.”
With his dad Jeremy Bieber actually on the scene as his son was arrested in Miami (his father was enjoying an all-expenses paid trip by the singer), the source insisted: “Unlike Jeremy, Patti is genuinely very concerned about her son. She’s been very sad and worried over the past few weeks.”
He is due to fly back to Los Angeles on a private jet, where friends and loved ones will attempt to get him to go to rehab.
“People are pushing him to get help but he doesn’t want help, he says he doesn’t need it and it’s very upsetting for Patti,” said the source.
Bieber mom is not the only one who worry about him, as his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez has reportedly implored him to seek rehab, but rehab is clearly not what he’s all about these days.
However, American people seem to be feed up with the Canadian pop star’s behavior so much, that thousands of U.S. citizens have signed a petition calling for Justin Bieber to be deported from the country following his arrest, reports the Metro.
The online petition, on the White House’s ‘We The People’ page, has already gained more than 15,000 signatures in less than 48 hours.
“We the people of the United States feel that we are being wrongly represented in the world of pop culture,’ it says of the Canadian popstar.
“We would like to see the dangerous, reckless, destructive and drug abusing, Justin Bieber deported and his green card revoked. He is not only threatening the safety of our people but he is also a terrible influence on our nation’s youth. We the people would like to remove Justin Bieber from our society.”
The Baby singer is facing the threat of a prison sentence after officers saw him drag-racing before dawn in a residential street in Florida.
