Microsoft is offering some interesting seasonal deals for shoppers who are still looking for the perfect Christmas gift. Starting Monday, people can get discounted Microsoft products during the 12 Day of Deals event. Thus the giant technology firm decided to give a good start for its holiday promotion with amazing deal for Dell Venue 8 Pro.

Microsoft is offering the Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet for just $99 on Monday, December 9th. It is a one-day sale price, available only one per customer for the first 20 buyers at Microsoft’s brick-and-mortar stores in the U.S. This is a $200 discount from the regular price for the 8-inch tablet, and is the first of the company’s 12 days of deals promotion that features a sale of a Microsoft-related product every day.

After the first 20 buyers, the tablet’s price is $199, still $100 less than regular, and continues at that sticker until there are no more units at that outlet. Microsoft has said that some stores may have under a dozen units in stock.

Online, the first 100 sales of the tablet will be priced at $99, which then becomes $199 as long as supplies last. Once the inventory is restocked, the price reverts to its regular $299. It’s possible that customers could have more luck obtaining the tablet at the brick and mortar locations as Microsoft relies on email advertising heavily over traditional fliers.

Physical Microsoft Stores generally open at 10 a.m., and, judging by how few Venue 8 Pros that it is putting on sale, it appears Microsoft wants to have an enthusiastic line at the door before opening. If you’re willing to show up early, you’ll get an 8-inch tablet for a price that would make almost any tablet worth buying.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro is a great first Windows 8.1 tablet. The new lineup of Venue Pro was unveiled by Dell in October. With very few frills, the 8-inch tablet gets the basics right, providing a true Windows 8.1 experience in a small, portable, and light package.

The Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet comes with an 8-inch touchscreen (1,280-by-800 resolution), 32GB of storage on a SSD drive, the Intel Atom Z3740D quad-core processor (1.8GHz), 2GB of RAM and the full Windows 8.1 operating system.

It also comes with card-reader support for MicroSD, SDHC and SDXC to expand the on-board storage space and a pre-loaded version of Microsoft Office Home & Student 2013. However, it does not come with a keyboard dock, something that’s included on a similar Windows 8.1 tablet around the same price point, the ASUS T100, says the Digital Trends.

Microsoft is yet to make any announcement about other deals that would be rolled out after this offer. The promotional campaign suggests that it would have different offers each day. But the company has hinted that it is about to rollout attractive offers for PCs, phones, fitness and music items, and popular accessories for Xbox and Windows. It intends to post announcements on its Website, writes Morning Ledger.
