Lady Gaga, Joseph Gordon-Levitt Melt Hearts with ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’ [Video]

Lady Gaga performed a special duet with actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt on US television last night.

The last time when Lady Gaga and Joseph Gordon-Levitt shared the stage, at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, Gaga was all mermaid-look wearing a seashell bikini and glitter boots, Gordon-Levitt charmed everyone with his cute dimples and shining smile.

However, this time Lady Gaga decided to leave her crazy outfits at home for once, and perform in a simple red dress a duet with Joseph in a slim suit both looking absolutely stunning.

On Thursday night, during a holiday special with the Muppets, Lady Gaga and Joseph Gordon-Levitt teamed up to sing a cheeky duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”

“I was so excited when ABC called me about doing a holiday special this year,” said Lady Gaga in a statement when the show was announced. “I knew it just wouldn’t be a complete night of laughter and memories without The Muppets! Can’t wait to see the gang again and I hope Miss Piggy’s still not mad about Kermit. We’re just friends!”

Kermit The Frog added: “What an incredible opportunity! We have a long history with Ms. Gaga, so we jumped at the chance to do a holiday special with her. We won’t even mind if she mistakes some of the Muppets for pieces of her wardrobe – again.”

Gaga and actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt looked very retro in their outfits performing the classic winter tune that was released in 1944 by Frank Loesser. t has been covered by many singing duos over the years including Cerys Matthews and Tom Jones in 1999 as well as Rod Stewart and Dolly Parton and Grease stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

The Poker Face singer showed off her svelte figure in the fitted dress as she and Joseph danced around a chaise lounge on a smokey stage. He looked suave in a black suit and tie as he held her close and crooned in her ear at various points throughout the classic song.

Levitt has been a longtime fan of the Mother Monster. A video of the actor covering “Bad Romance” went viral in 2010.

But JGL wasn’t the only apple of Gaga’s eye. The star sang along with several of the Muppets, including the one and only Kermit, during the 90-minute special. And Miss Piggy stole the show with her own rendition of “Santa Baby.”

The energetic, bouncy bunch of Kermit, Miss Piggy, Walter, Fozzie Bear, Dr. Bunsen Honeydew, two chickens, Green Frackle, and Dr. Teeth & The Electric Mayhem all sang along to Gaga’s song Applause, and Kermit was even seen excitedly clapping to the beat.

Gaga – born Stefani Germanotta – was clad in a plunging silver sequin top and wavy blonde wig with fringe alongside four tuxedoed dancers.

The likes of Elton John, RuPaul and Kristen Bell also appeared on the show, with the latter taking to the stage to perform Fashion! with Lady G, while Bell also danced with Bobo the Bear.

Lady Gaga will also appear in the upcoming eighth Muppet feature – Muppets Most Wanted, says the Daily Mail.
