La Perla has given us a first look at its stunning new Spring 2014 campaign starring Cara Delevingne.

La Perla enlisted the beautiful and eccentric Cara Delevingne for its next advertising campaign, shot by the photography duo Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the duo behind Lady Gaga’s Versace campaign – and under the artistic direction of Fabien Baron.

Cara Delevingne is sizzling in the ad campaign images for the lingerie brand, showcasing some of the best and sexiest pieces La Perla has to offer while sporting luscious wavy hair and glaring into the camera with a seductive come hither look in her eyes.

The Portraits Of A Lady campaign also marks the British models’ first ever lingerie ad, not that you can tell – she looks sensational. The look is also a far cry away from the baggy, casual clothes that she normally likes to wear in her spare time.

Striking a commanding pose in La Perla’s white Underwired Swimsuit featuring a striped mesh front and cut-out back, Cara gets her mermaid goddess on with wet sea-salt tousled hair swept back into a ponytail and dewy bronzed skin.

In another shot, Miss D perfects her come-to-bed eyes in the racy Sparkling Jasmine lace bra and matching knickers, with her glossy mane thrown over one shoulder as she scrunches up a black just-thrown-on boyfriend shirt.

The slender model will not be alone, as the campaign will also feature Malgosia Bela and Liu Wen, according to La Perla’s Facebook page. Malgosia is pictured in the sumptuous ‘Heritage’ corset, Liu in a transparent body – her modesty covered by some delicate paisley embellishment.

The brand cites the “charismatic, knowing, adult femininity of Malgosia Bela, the perfect ‘zen’ elegance of Liu Wen, the first Chinese model to ascend to the ranks of the most in-demand international supermodels, and the youthful and rebellious magnetism of Cara Delevingne, as she and the other models “express their relationship with their body, with seduction, with beauty”.

The star gave a sneak peek into the high-class shoot in October on her Instagram page, revealing her latest fashion campaign was for luxury label La Perla, before the label released the full images.

Undoubtedly the “it girl” of the moment, Cara Delevingne has appeared in campaign after campaign throughout the year. In recent months, she posed for Pepe Jeans, Fendi, DKNY, and Mulberry.

Cara was also recently pictured sporting a teeny Chanel bikini which was also worn by fellow model, Miranda Kerr for i-D magazine’s ‘A-Z Of Wink’ campaign.

The bikini first became famous in 1996 when model Stella Tennant wore it in the designer label’s runway show that year. And although Cara was shot in a grey hoody for her part in the iconic magazine’s video trailer, she clearly couldn’t resist sneakily trying on Miranda’s barely there costume as she hung out backstage.

In the November 2013 issue of i-D, she admitted that her body is her biggest insecurity, saying: I’d like to be curvier.”

But despite her success both on the runway and in front of the camera, Cara has dreams of becoming an actress, reports the Daily Mail.
