The troubled star has been detained and charged with felony assault in Washington, D.C. for allegedly an unidentified man in the face outside a hotel on Sunday.

Chris Brown, 24, was arrested with his bodyguard after they allegedly attacked a man outside the W Hotel at 15th and Pennsylvania Avenue at 4:30 a.m., a DC police spokeswoman told reporters.

Police spokesman Paul Metcalf also confirmed that the Rihanna’s ex-assaulter was arrested and charged with felony assault Sunday. His bodyguard, 35-year-old Chris Hollosy, was also was arrested on felony assault charges following the incident.

CNN reporters identified the victim as Isaac Adams Parker, 20, of Beltsville, Maryland. He was not available for comments.

The victim reported to police that he tried to jump into a photo that the singer was posing for with a female fan on the sidewalk when the singer said, “I’m not down with that gay s–t” and “I feel like boxing.”

Following this, the 24-year-old punched Parker in the face with his closed fist, the police report said.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Brown will be in jail until court on Monday, since he is still on probation and not eligible for release until seeing a judge.

The R’n’B star is currently on probation in California for a felony domestic violence conviction involving famous singer Rihanna. According to the ruling, any arrest of Brown could be considered a violation of that probation, which could result in jail time.

“Prosecutors filed probation violation charges against him twice in the past year, resulting in the judge ordering him to complete an additional 1,000 hours of community service,” reminds CNN.

The singer was arrested in back in February 2009 for punching the ‘Umbrella’ performance inside a rented Lamborghini on a Hollywood street.

He entered a guilty plea seven months later and the judge ordered him to serve five years probation and ordered to spend more than 1,400 hours in “labor-oriented service.”

Brown made headlines the last year, when he was accused by the district attorney’s office of not completing the 1,400 hours of community labor, which he was allowed to do in his home state of Virginia.

This summer the star was accused of hit-and-run as well as driving without a license back in May by the Los Angeles City  Attorney.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the 24-year-old refused to give his driver’s license to the other driver and offered fake insurance information before leaving the scene last month.

He went on: “I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene. She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures.”

“My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism! My profile pic is the pic I took of the persons car after “the hit and run”. NO damage. Just a dirty car.once again, I gotta clear my name.”

On May 21, Brown got into a car accident while driving in Los Angeles near Toluca Lake. His Range Rover rear-ended a Mercedes, causing “medium” damage. Shortly after, the rapper was accused of failing to give the proper information.
