The Tuesday’s event began in true Apple’s style – with a video. “If everyone is busy making everything, how can anyone perfect anything?” it asks. “There are a thousand nos for every yes.”

And Tim Cook took the stage, saying: “Thank you for joining us and good morning. I really love that video — we played it for the first time at the developer’s conference in June, it does such an incredible job of talking about our values.”

As it was predicted, the Cupertino-based company unveiled updated MacBook Pro laptops and next generation of its tablet, the iPad Air and iPad Air Mini. However, nothing was said about Apple TV.

As First Post reports, the 13-inch Macbook Pro’s batttery life was extended to 9 hours (up from an estimated 7 hrs before). Moreover, it’s now lighter (3.46 lbs), and thinner (0.71-inch) and goes at the price of $1299.

The previous version of the popular tablet was priced at $1499. The 15-inch MacBook Pro is coming with the fifth generation Intel Crystalwell chip and 2.0 GhZ quad-core i7 processor. It will go on sale at the price of $1999. Both have Retina Display screens.

During the event Apple SEO Tim Cook took to the stage to announce new iPads, saying: “iPad is the most successful product in Apple’s history and in the industry. Earlier this month we sold our 170 millionth iPad.”

The company’s chief executive revealed to the public 9.7-inch Apple iPad Air which is 20% thinner than iPad 4 and is powered by A7 processor.

“iPad Air has up to 8x faster performance, 72x faster graphics performance compared to existing iPad 4. It has 10-hour battery life and 5MP front camera,” informs The Times of India. The just unveiled device costs $499 for 16GB version with Wi-Fi. The version with 3G/LTE comes at $629.

Soon after annoucing the iPad Air, the company’s chief, as it was predicted, revealed the new version of its iPad Mini today. 7-inch screen with 2048 x 1536 pixels and retina display’.

The iPad Mini 2 will go on sale at $399 with Wi-Fi, $529 with mobile data. It is also powered by A7 processor.

Meanwhile, original iPad Mini’s price is getting lower. It will be now available for $299 in the market.

All the announcements were widely rumored by experts and tech bloggers, but there’re still things that were not introduced at the Tuesday’s event.

Thus, practically everybody predicted that the Cupertino based company would bring the fingerprint sensor to the new iPads. But it seems like the feature will be unveiled just next October.

The latest version of Apple music players, iPod, came back in 2012. And it would have been nice to see a new model of the extra popular device before the holidays, but it looks like iPod lineup won’t be continued for the next several months.

And finally, Apple iWatch smart device wasn’t unveiled at the San Franscisco event.

Samsung, Qualcomm, and Sony have all launched smartwatch products. But Apple “has dropped hints that it’s interested in pursuing a watch product, and with the announcement of the new M7 “motion coprocessor” the potential is there, but we don’t expect to see anything before 2014,” concludes CNet.
