The Nashville star appeared on TV with a huge snake around her neck all the attention was stolen by her engagement ring.
Hayden Panettiere and her famous boyfriend Wladimir Klitschko have long been rumored to be engaged, but during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael on Wednesday, the actress showed off her ring and confirmed the reports.
And though the blonde tried to play coy at first, telling Kelly Ripa about the ring, “I mean, I think it speaks for itself,” when Hayden was asked outright if she is engaged, she replied, “I am.”
The two first met at a book party four years ago and dated from 2009 to 2011 before calling off their relationship, reminds The Daily Mail. Hayden and Wladimir reconciled in January and are thought to have gotten engaged soon after.
The news of the engagement was confirmed by Hayden during her TV appearance, where she arrived with a huge boa constrictor around her neck in order to startle co-host Michael Strachan, who isn’t a fan of snakes.
The host told the actress: “I’m sort of distracted, not just by the snake, but there’s a very large diamond ring on your finger. I’m not sure if you want to announce anything … does that signify anything, is that a promise of something?”
The beauty has previously spoke out about reconciling with  a Ukrainian-born heavyweight fighter, calling it ‘the 2.0 version’.
She said: “It’s like the 2.0 version. I’ve always had great relationships and stayed really good friends with the guys I’ve dated. It blows my mind sometimes that us getting together has gotten so much attention. It’s like, Really? This is breaking news?”
Panettiere has been previously linked to her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia and Laguna Beach star Stephen Colletti in the past but she later confessed to the media that she prefers dating athletes.
“They’re in similar circles, where they understand the schedule, the work ethic, the social aspect,’ she said, ‘but they’re not exactly in your industry, so it works out well,” the Nashville starlet told reporters in one of her interviews at the time.
According to the 24-year-old, the couple hasn’t decided on a date or made any immediate plans for a wedding just yet due to her busy filming schedule, writes The US Magazine.
The actress has returned back to her fans as Juliette Barnes in ABC’s primetime country music drama, “Nashville.”
As reports claim, this season will show the beauty not only completing the country’s reigning queen, Rayna James, preformed by Connie Britton, but also with an up-and-coming performer who seems to be stealing Juliette’s thunder.
“This season it’s even more fun because she kind of deserves it,” Panettiere revealed on “Good Morning America”.
“This season I’m not going after somebody who doesn’t deserve it. We talked about it in the first season where there’s somebody who’s always digging at your heels and waiting to take that spot and that’s this girl. It’s like dealing with a new Juliette Barne,” Panettiere added.
