It looks like after September 10th, the current iPhone rumor season will end and a new one will begin. This is because this is the day the Californian tech giant is expected to unveil its new vision of the iconic smartphone, All Things D‘s unnamed sources claim.
“Apple is also expected to formally launch the next version of Mac OS X, known as Mavericks, in the coming weeks, though that is not expected at the Sept. 10 event,” the publication adds.
The news come a few weeks after a series of rumors surfaced, claiming that Apple will introduce its new devices on September, 6.

iFun cited a very “credible source” who on the condition of anonymoity that “the next-generation iPhone will be according to our information on 6 September come on the market. In addition to that day, “two new types of devices” to be available – and thus are not two different color variations or memory meant.”
The iPhone 5 was first demonstrated to the public on Sept. 12 of last year and entered shops in the U.S. nine days later. The iPhone 4S was announced on Oct. 4, 2011, and went on sale in the U.S. 10 days later.
The iPhone 5 and its cheaper analogue reflect the recent statement of KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who had previously insisted that the Californian tech giant will release an iPhone 5S and a cheaper iPhone 5.
However, Kuo said that the iPad 5 and iPhone 5 featuring plastic casing will be ready for launch in early September while the full-fledged iPhone 5S release date was pushed back to the end of the month.
As The International Business Times writes, “Apple confirmed that it will launch two new products before 2013 ends. However, the company does not specifically whether an iPhone 5S release date may happen.”
“The full-fledged iPhone 5S release date is rumoured to come with powerful by A7 quad core chip. It will include some features such as Near Field Communication, 13MP back camera and longer battery life. And just like its brother, iPad, it may have a large internal storage of up to 128GB,” the paper adds.
The Apple chief executive Tim Cook also dropped several hints that the upcoming iPhone 6 and 5S will be released later this year. The company’s CEO revealed earlier that no new products are to launch before the end of the year.
“Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can’t wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014.”
” As expected, the iPhone 5S appears nearly identical to the iPhone 5 save several small distinctions. The first is the previously rumored dual-LED flash on the back of the iPhone 5S. Where every iPhone that’s had a back-facing flash thus far has used a single bulb, this next-generation device is aiming to up the ante with a double-dose of bright light.”
As usual, the Cupertino-based tech company is tight-lipped on the details of its upcoming devices.
