Sydney Leathers Trashes Anthony Weiner on ‘Howard Stern Show’ [Video]

One of Anthony Weiner’s most recent sexting partners,Sydney Leathers, went on Howard Stern’s satellite radio show Tuesday.

Anthony Weiner‘s latest sexting buddy, a blogger for the Indiana Progressive Liberals, former field organizer for President Obama‘s re-election campaign, Sydney Leathers stopped by “The Howard Stern Show” for a memorable appearance on Tuesday, where she shared about her and Weiner’s lewd affair, highlighting particularly that the former congressman is not fit to be mayor.

As the Huff Post reports, the 23-year-old Leathers did not shy away from offering her opinion on whether Weiner, 48, had what it took to become New York’s next mayor.

“I mean as funny as it would be to have a Mayor Carlos Danger, I think he’s a little too busy j—–g off to do anything for the city,” Leathers told Stern.

Sydney Leathers weighed in on the sexting scandal, telling Stern she became “pissed off” upon watching Weiner on the campaign trail insisting he had changed.

“The hypocrisy got to me,” Leathers, 23, said. “I am proof you have not changed…I was flattered that he trusted me enough to send [his naked photos] in the moment. And also just completely baffled that someone so book smart could be so stupid in life.”

Leathers told Stern she initially admired Weiner on a political level before news of his first sexting scandal broke two years ago. She wrote to Weiner on Facebook to express her disappointment to the then-congressman. “I was a huge fan of him and very disappointed in his actions,” she said, according to Classicalite.

“I’m a huge political junkie, so yeah … I knew all about him … I didn’t hear from him in about a year. There was no picture or anything. A year later he poked me on Facebook out of nowhere – just total Internet stalking to say he was sorry he let me down. … I was like, ‘Is he really this dumb?’”

Detailing the escalation of their sexually charged exchanges — which began via email and morphed into regular phone sex spiced with sexted naked photos — Leathers admitted that she fell for Weiner.

She said it “didn’t take long at all” for Weiner to start flirting with her when they were chatting online, adding “he doesn’t really have a good segueway, he just goes right into it.”

Asked if she thought she was “in love” with the former congressman, Leathers answered, “Well, he said it first. Maybe I thought I was in love with him, in reality I wasn’t.”

The appearance on Stern really shouldn’t have affect Weiner’s campaign at this point, as he continues to fall behind in the run for New York mayor. His campaign manager quit shortly following the scandal with Leathers. A new report suggests there is no possible way for him to win.

“The credibility is gone and the campaign manager had to follow,” Bill Cunningham, who worked on Mike Bloomberg’s campaign, told the Daily Beast.

“If he were to stay there, you are in some ways trying to justify what Weiner has said and your own credibility has gone down the tubes, and your ability to get into other campaigns down the road will be compromised. He probably looks at this and says, ‘I don’t want to be tarnished.'”
