The design team at SAOTA has become known over the years as to the go to firm when it comes to high end luxury properties.

South African based Architects, SAOTA -Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects, is driven by the dynamic combination of Stefan Antoni, Philip Olmesdahl and Greg Truen who share a potent vision easily distinguished in their buildings and an innovative and dedicated approach to the execution of projects internationally, nationally and locally.

Among many of their projects are   this deluxe mansion in Miami, a sophisticated glass house in Geneva and this resort-like home in Phuket, just to name a few.

And one again the Cape Town based studio has delivered with exquisite representation of modern luxury – Head Road 1843 Residence.

A charming residence with perfect geometrical forms and modern interiors offers fresh and modern living spaces for relaxation and entertainment capturing the magnitude of the breathtaking views.

The shape of each room is consistent with the structure’s overall sharp and angular geometry, a characteristic that’s strikingly offset by the interior’s plush furniture and warm color choices.

From the windows, as from the terrace, enjoying again the fantastic views across the horizon, in a cool climate and relaxed.

Designed by SAOTA, the house has been “re-equipped” with luxury exclusive by the study of decoration and interior design Antoni Associates.

The owners wanted to live in a residence absolutely fresh and modern, with all the architectural and interior typical of the 21st century.

The structure of the house it follows international standards and has the outside with a spacious terrace with stunning infinity pool deck: the sensation is like being seated in a private beach by the sea, with breathtaking views to the waters of the immense Atlantic Ocean.

The furniture selection and decor is a combination of bespoke pieces and imported branded furniture. Adjacent to the open plan living and dining room is the bar containing a custom-designed humidor for an extensive cigar collection.

The kitchen is finished in high gloss white lacquered units with Volakas marble counter tops. The clients required an additional two children’s bedrooms, gym, and home cinema.

The outdoor space has been transformed, adding features for relaxation but, most importantly, for entertaining.

It was designed to allow ‘guests’ entertainment and organization of events and special events. It also includes a gazebo pavilion, a dining area with outdoor grill and relaxing space for sunbathing in complete privacy.

The pool gazebo has been constructed mainly of Iroko timber and has a raised deck with concealed strip lighting.

In contrast to the white Volakas floor, black Nero Maraquino marble has been used to clad a cantilevered fireplace shelf which extends over the pool edge. Sumptuous upholstery adds to the sexy comfort of this outdoor room.

Inside the Residence are SAOTA a master bedroom suite, two bedrooms, a gym and a home cinema with all the comforts and the latest technology. In the lounge, which has an open plan, there is a large dining room with open plan bar and the entire ambiance creates the same atmosphere at a fine restaurant.
