Looks like absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder.
Reunited and it feels so good for Miley Cyrus, who is “very happy” to have her fiancé back in the U.S.
The actor had looked grim when he arrived in California on Wednesday, but it seems his downcast demeanor was not a sign of things to come.
But while the 23-year-old Aussie looked in a serious mood as he made his way out of the arrival terminal,he will have surely perked up when he finally saw his lover again, writes the Daily Mail.
Liam was in Manila to fulfill promotional duties for clothing brand Bench and film Empire State.
Though a source recently told Us Weekly that the 20-year-old LOL actress and the 23-year-old Hunger Games actor have been having “the worst fights of their relationship” in the past few months – over everything from Cyrus’ drastic makeover to Hemsworth’s reported make-out session with an A-list actress – they appear to be trying to work it out.
“Things are going well,” an insider says. “They are happy.”
“Since Liam returned to L.A., Miley has been in the best mood. They are together, and will continue their wedding plans,” the source adds of the couple, whose time apart ignited rumors they had split.
“Miley was in a great mood,” an onlooker says, adding “she was wearing the ring,” referring to the much-watched engagement ring Hemsworth gave to Cyrus when he proposed to her last May.
Just a day before he arrived back in the US, Miley was once again wearing her massive wedding ring.
Miley took to Twitter to assure fans she was not calling off her relationship to Liam and explained she had to take the ring off.
The Hannah Montana star was responding to a tweet from her backup singer Lindsey J Lee when she lamented that the world had over thought her missing ring.
“@lindseyjlee ugh that’s the worst! I just had a similar situation except when it happens to me then everyone says my wedding is off.”
However speaking with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show Friday morning, Miley Cyrus avoided the topic completely.
The Hannah Montana alum seemed almost giddy as she joked with the host about her twerking video and talked about collaborating with Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg) for her upcoming album.
“I can’t believe how many people think I’m good at twerking—which is dope—like my life goal has been accomplished,’ she told the radio host. ‘I thought it was so weird, but I’m glad that everyone understands my humor.”
The singer explained how the video – which has received more than 6 million hits – came about.
“I had a photo shoot earlier that day and so I didn’t really want to get dressed, so I wore the unicorn onesie and my friend was like, ‘Everyone is gone, we have the backdrop and the lighting.’ So I started dancing and said, ‘Here’s my phone will you record it real quick,’” she said.
“I’ve been practicing probably for the past two years, in my own time in my living room,”she said.
