The Ford Fiesta is a new version of the mid-sized sedan that was launched earlier as the Ford Fiesta Classic. This new Ford Fiesta is being compared to the Aston Martin and comes with exteriors and interiors having undergone major changes.

The car exudes power, class, style and the latest trends. The Ford Fiesta has come from the old and popular Ford car makers whose machines and designs were considered niche and price-worthy. Though, priced higher than expected this time, the newer version of this Ford Fiesta has features definitely worth talking about.

The Fiesta is available in two versions, one being petrol and the other being diesel. The mileage offered is at par with industry standards of 17 Kms/litre for the diesel car and 16.5Kms/litre for the petrol car. As far as the power is concerned, it remains unmatched when equated with the other cars in this segment. It is motorized at 109PS power at 6045 rpm and an extreme torque of 140Nm at 4500 rpm in the petrol version while it offers 90bhp at 3750 rpm in the diesel variety.

Most of the cars in the market offer this or lesser. The car offers a really fast pick-up 100 km per hour in just 12.5 seconds whereas the diesel type is pushed the same at a fair 13.2 seconds making this car fit for the city roads as well as for highways travels and fairly so for tougher road rides too. The exteriors have undergone major changes with the car adopting a more sporty and classic feel. It is difficult to add sex appeal to a city car but the Fiesta has worked for that.

The grille is divided into two grilles, the lower and upper grilles, while it supplies with latest inbuilt stop reflectors. The car looks a lot like the new Honda City Civic. The interiors of the car are centered on the main console that comes with a range of buttons that make all the accessories and their functions available at one spot itself.

The cabin looks like a world in itself; it offers complete resistance from noise making the car cabin a relaxing experience. The car has been criticized for having lesser leg and head room despite being quite a long car. The wheels are made of 15 inch alloy that offer a safe and slide free ride.

The Ford Fiesta is quite a safe car that supplies with essential security features like the door open warning, engine immobilizer, xenon headlamps keyless entry, crash sensor, day & night rear mirror, driver airbag, passenger airbag, passenger side rear view mirror, rear seat belts and a seat belt warning.

It is available in beautiful colors like diamond white, panther black, chill metallic, kinetic blue, sea squeeze and etc. This car is perfect melange of fuel performance and engine performance.

Price and Affordability

The car was released at a price higher than expected. It is currently priced at Rs.7 Lakhs to Rs. 11 Lakhs. The price would differ for petrol and diesel and automatic and manual gears. Look before you take the leap.
