Jane Lynch Raps Nicki Minaj’s ‘Super Bass’ on Conan [Video]

If Jane Lynch decided on giving up her acting thing, she may have a back-up career lined up as a rapper.

The famous actress appeared Monday on “Conan,” where the late-night host asked her about attending Elton John’s star-studded Oscars party.

Lynch spoke about some of the celebrities who attended the party, including Steven Tyler and Nicki Minaj, whose material Lynch is no stranger to.

When chatting with Conan O’Brien, the 52-year-old actress recalled how cool it was to sit next to Minaj. “And I did a Nicki Minaj show on Glee!” she exclaimed. “I rap!”

Then, the Glee star proceeded to show off her skills, much to the crowd’s delight. “It took me so long,” she said. “I worked so hard on that.”

O’Brien joked that Lynch could “use that [rap] so many times in life.”

“Absolutely,” she replied. “I have all of these skills now that are just going to get me so far…And they don’t expect it from a 6-foot white lady.”

The news comes a few days after the “Super Bass” singer has decided to fire her stylist, hairdresser and makeup artist in one fell swoop.

“Nicki is desperate to be taken seriously as an artist,” a source told reporters. “She’s fired her long-standing hairdresser who has been responsible for some of her crazy hairstyles over the years. “

“She’s also fired her stylist. Nicki feels that now she’s done with ‘American Idol’ she can finally be taken seriously and release a proper hip-hop album.”

This alleged restructuring comes just after Nicki’s claims that she did not have any plastic surgery.

In an interview with “Extra,” the 30-year-old startling singer denied rumors she’s had plastic surgery on her face.

”I’ve never had surgery on my face. They’ll see contour and they’ll think you had surgery on your nose, no no no, look at ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and you’ll see how you can make your nose look any shape you want,” she told correspondent Renee Bargh.

Despite anxiously denying surgery on her face, the singer, however, didn’t deny having work done on her derriere, which has long been rumored, Inquisitr writes.

Minaj also admitted that she has had to tone down her look over the last few months. “It’s a bit more grown and sexy and like … less is more,” she added, before stating that she often has non-glamorous days and that on those occasions she looks like hell.

“You don’t want to see it, a scarf on my head, sweatpants, UGGS, T-shirt,” added Minaj.

In a 2011 interview with MTV2’s Funk Flex Full Throttle, the singer explained that she actually doesn’t care about all the buzz around her plentiful bum.

“I don’t mind the questions, I don’t mind the fascination … But I’ve said this before, it doesn’t define me. So, I try my best not to focus my energy on it,” she explained.

“Like, if you guys focus energy on and spend energy on it, I don’t mind it. You know, people are sitting in the barbershop talking about my butt, it’s conversational. That’s what people are gonna do. As long as they’re talking about Nicki Minaj, I’m good.”
