Fergie revealed on Monday that she and her husband, actor Josh Duhamel, are expecting a baby.

A representative for Fergie confirmed the news Monday after her famous husband Josh Duhamel tweeted about the news with joy, saying: “Fergie and Me and BABY makes three.”

“Yes, Fergie is pregnant!!” her rep said to Just Jared. “We are pleased to confirm the news.”

The Black Eyed Peas singer took to Twitter to post the same message along with an Instagram photo of the two as babies themselves.

“They just found out and tweeted it to the world,” a source told Us Weekly.

During the past few week rumors were circulating over the Internet after Fergie was photographed wearing baggy clothes and sporting what looked to be a blossoming baby bump.

X17Online’s photographer snapped photos of the 37-year-old shopping at Whole Foods in Los Angeles, just before the Super Bowl on Sunday, reports The Huffington Post.

However, that time her actor husband denied the rumors, assuring reporters that there was “no news.”

It was not the first time The Black Eyed Peas singer has been rumored to be pregnant. In September, she took part in the Rachael Ray Show to debunk rumors, telling the host that her weight just tends to fluctuate.

“[People ask if I’m pregnant] every time I fluctuate a few pounds. Like right now, I’m a couple pounds up,” the singer explained.

“Sometimes I go a couple pounds down and I wear the clothes that are more fitted, but people kind of look at me because they’re expecting [that] it’s that time. We do hope for children and that will be coming up, but it’s not yet.”

The couple, who tied the knot in 2009, had previously spoken about their desire to start a family during appearance on Oprah’s Next Chapter.

Duhamel said he hoped to one day have five children, but Fergie lowered his expectations. “We negotiated that early on,” the 37-year-old singer said. “Two is our number.”

The actor, 40, explained it’s because he and Fergie “grew up in very similar ways,” they’re on the same page when it comes to raising a little one.

“My mother was a teacher. Both of her parents were teachers. We both had to work for what we got. We’re both Catholic,” he added. “There were a lot of things that were really compatible between us. But at the end of the day, she’s just an amazing girl.”

Fergie accompanied her husband at the premiere of his Nicholas Sparks-based flick “Safe Haven” on Feb. 5. She was wearing a small black shift dress that hid any bumps, breaking with the fitted fare we’re use to seeing her in.

As The Los Angeles Times writes, the pregnancy may cramp her style a bit, since she just launched her new wine line with her father.

Last week Fergie was spotted at a bottle signing for the Ferguson Crest wines at the Wine House in Los Angeles. For what it’s worth, her billowy red scarf concealed any trace of a baby bump too.
