For some time it was not clear, who will grace the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2013 issue’s cover? According to some reports the two women up for the honor is Miss Alabama, Katherine Webb, and Swedish beauty, Nina Agdal.

Both Katherine Webb and Nina Agdal have reached super stardom at the same time. Webb was noticed after an ESPN broadcaster made comments about her looks as she sat in the stands supporting her boyfriend during a national championship game in Jan. – Alabama quarterback, AJ McCarron.

Actually it is Nina who is a lucky girl!

The 20-year-old has already posed for the issue – out on February 12 – and is believed to have beaten off stiff competition from top contenders, Katherine Webb and Derek Jeter’s girlfriend, Hannah Davis.

For Webb’s fans who were hoping she will scoop the cover too, they will not be disappointed as she is also featured in the swimsuit issue.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, a surprised Webb said she was “completely dumbfounded’ to be asked to appear in the issue,” adding that it was “so shocking to me because literally overnight I go from being AJ’s girlfriend and going to support him in the championship game to being on every major media news outlet. “

For those who don’t know Nina Agdal, she has made her spotlight debut at the Super Bowl as in the Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s Super Bowl ad.

After Carl’s Jr. announced that Nina would star in their Super Bowl ad, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue 2012 rookie of the year quickly gained 26,000 Twitter followers in less than 12 hours.

Similarly, Sports Illustrated cover girl 2012 Kate Upton also appeared in the Carls Jr. Super Bowl advert last year. Kate, 20, became a star after her appearance on the cover of the swimsuit issue – and appears in a raunchy Super Bowl advert for the Mercedes-Benz CLA.

Right now Kate Upton is considered the hottest woman in the world; and perhaps rightfully so. Since the 20-year-old Michigan native and Wolverines fan was named the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl, the entire media has been buzzing over, wanting to know more about here…like if her breast is real or not.

It’s Upton’s third appearance in a Swimsuit issue. The beauty was chosen as rookie of the year two years ago, when Irina Shayk was on the cover.

As The Daily Mail reports, Kate got the surreal and beautiful landscape of Antarctica where the shot shows her clad only in a white, fur-lined parka and bikini bottom.

But you much check out Nina to see  if she fits the bill.

You must check out the entire Nina Agdal’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit pictorial on SI’s Swimsuit 2013 homepage.

Nina Agdal grew up in Hillerød, Denmarkhas modeled for Billabong, Macy’s, Frederick’s of Hollywood, and Victoria’s Secret. In 2012, she made her first appearance in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and was subsequently named the issue’s “Rookie of the Year.”

Agdal appeared in a 2013 Super Bowl television commercial for Carl’s Jr./Hardee’s, following in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian, Padma Lakshmi, and fellow Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model Kate Upton.

The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue of 2013 came out Feb. 12.
