“I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teens but it’s time for me to get back in the studio,” she said in a statement Friday.

“It’s no secret I’m a shy person,” she added. “I feel doing this show over the past year has allowed me to come out of my shell a lot more. Everyone on the show has been amazing and made me feel really comfortable.”

A source close to the singer revealed that the pop superstar intends to focus on her music now that she’s done with the hit show.

“Watching [the contestants] all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much!” she said. “I can’t wait to get back out there and do what I love most.”

Soon after her announcement that she leaves the famous show ‘X Factor’, the pop star revealed that she ended her engagement with talent agent Jason Trawick.

“Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement,” Spears said in the statement. “I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.”

Singer’s publicist Jeff Raymond said the breakup was a difficult decision made by “two mature adults.”

“I love and cherish her and her boys, and we will be close forever,” Trawick reporters in a joint statement, adding that the split marks a new chapter for the couple.

The couple’s love story began after Britney’s father, Jamie Spears, seized power over her finances and career decisions via legal conservatorship. He has given Trawick permission to marry his daughter, but he wanted Trawick to sign a prenuptial agreement.

“Brit’s folks are simply over the moon that Jason will become a member of the family. Her parents love and trust Jason with their daughter,” a source close to the family said.

“For a long time it was uncertain if Britney would ever be able to find true happiness and love because of her various mental health issues, but Jason is so patient, loving and understanding, and fully supportive of Britney. Jason is very close to Britney’s mom, Lynne.”

She experienced a 55-hour Las Vegas union to childhood friend Jason Alexander in 2004 and a marriage to Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons, six-year-old Sean Preston and five-year-old Jayden James. This marriage lasted two years and ended in 2006.

It was also reported that Trawick made a proposal at a private dinner, and presented Spears with a three-carat round stone and pave diamond ring.

According to sources, Britney is currently recording her 8th album, with some help from Will.i.am and producer Hit-Boy, the brains behind Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “N****s in Paris.”

One of our sources told TMZ: “Britney loves Simon, she likes Demi Lovato but her thing is music.”

The super pop-star is also expected to go on tour again after she releases the highly anticipated album.
