How long before Miley Cyrus removes all of her hair and all of her clothes at the same time? If her current trajectory is any indication, that day is not too far off.
Ms. I’m-No-Longer-Hannah-Montana-And-Don’t-You-Forget-It flashed her groove things in concert over the weekend in Hollywood, sporting a scanty top and an even shorter haircut than the one she shocked folks with back in August.
Following in the footsteps of the likes of Anne Hathaway, Emma Watson, Michelle Williams and others, the 19-year-old pulled off a dramatic makeover. She’s gone for a platinum blond power-pixie cut, and she’s rocking it.
Cyrus, 20, was performing with Israeli dubstep DJ Borgore at the Saturday night “Christmas Creampies” concert at the Fonda Theatre, taking the stage around 1:30 a.m. Sunday, according to Rolling Stone. The two had collaborated before, on the song “Decisions.”
Miley Cyrus returned to the stage over the weekend for what might be one of her most risqué performances. The singer, looking particularly sexy in a buzz cut, crop top, skin-tight pants and over-the-knee snakeskin boots, performed alongside Israeli Dj Borgore Saturday night.
This is the bigger show and we wanted it to be special,” he told Rolling Stone in his dressing room before taking the stage for a sold-out crowd at the Music Box.
So he reached out to “Decisions” singer Miley Cyrus. “I really wanted her here, really,” he said. The DJ took the stage at the Music Box in Los Angeles and the singer joined him at around 1:30 a.m. to perform their track, “Decisions.” It wasn’t just Cyrus’ look that was sexy — it how she was performing.
Building up the hype, the DJ yelled: “Are you ready for my special guest? Miley Cyrus!” Cyrus, in a black crop-top, black pants and leopard boots, came out dancing to a huge popping sound and a sea of cell phones taking pictures.
Grinding home the more-mature message were a couple of topless pole-dancers who took the stage with the former Disney princess, writes the Los Angeles Times.
It features the twosome partying the night away, covered in cake — an allusion to the chorus of the track where Cyrus sings “Decisions, but I want it all so I get it all/ I wanna eat the whole cake/ I’m not sharing, I’m not sharing/ You should have learned how to bake.”
After Cyrus revealed on Twitter that she was the singer on “Decisions,” Borgore said that he had no qualms about working with the one-time Disney sensation. And he stands by that. “I didn’t think twice before I did this, I was so certain this is gonna work,” he said.
The 20-year-old isn’t just lending her voice to the Borgore track. She’s also hard at work on her next album, hitting the studio with Pharrell and Mac Miller, US Magazine reports. “I’m really proud of the album,” Cyrus said. “It’s my favorite thing I’ve done probably ever. It’s all really different.”
