Eva Longoria has still got it (not that we’re surprised). She definitely looks like a woman who likes to take control as she confidently struts her stuff in a new photoshoot.

The former Wisteria Lane beauty stripped to her smalls for the sizzling snaps, posing in a black strapped bra and matching knickers. The star looks stunning on GQ Mexico‘s December cover, baring her assets in white-hot lingerie.

The smoky-eyed star sported sexy, tousled hair for the shoot, posing seductively with her arm wrapped around her toned bod.

Examiner writes that the 37-year-old actress looked younger than her years as she struck a saucy pose against a large window, with her toned physique on show.

Still, the former aerobics instructor works hard to stay in shape, hitting the gym four days a week doing a combination of cardio workouts and strength-training. Eva also does yoga and eats lots of fresh vegetables and lean protein to maintain her sleek size-zero physique.

Longoria once tried a vegan diet but found it too complicated to fit her lifestyle. “I love the philosophy behind veganism, but I went from one day eating chicken and meat to eating just salad,”

The 5-foot-2 Latina bombshell enjoys being considered sexy, but insists true beauty comes from within.

“I always feel flattered when they say [I’m sexy]. I hope people will perceive me as beautiful for everything I do in relation to charitable works and philanthropy, and for political activism,” Eva Longoria tells GQ Mexico. “For me, those are the things that define beauty. Beauty lies mainly, above all, in personality, not in the skin.”

And with all those projects on her plate, Longoria say she doesn’t “stop for a minute” – but that’s just the way she likes it.

“My mother raised four daughters (one of whom has special needs), worked as a teacher and every day, at 6:00 pm, cooked dinner for my dad and for us, and every morning we also had the breakfast,” explains Longoria.

She continues, “So I see my mother and think, ‘I’m not doing enough.’”

Eva, a former beauty pageant winner (Miss Corpus Christi, 1988) has been a fitness fanatic all her life, and even majored in physical education in college.

“My bachelor’s degree is in kinesiology, so it’s ingrained in me to work out,” Longoria said. “I was an aerobics instructor, and a personal trainer in college, so I was addicted to exercise. I used to do an hour and a half to two hours a day. I’d teach a class and then train clients, and I realized I didn’t need that much.

The actress, who is currently single following her split from New York Jets star Mark Sanchez, was spotted earlier this week looking casual as she headed to Los Angeles Airport for a trip to Chicago.

Following the end of her ABC show Desperate Housewives, the starlet has now turned her attention to the big screen. And on Thursday a new trailer was released for her upcoming film The Baytown Outlaws.

In the film, Longoria plays a woman who relies on three brothers to help save her son from an abusive father.

The movie also stars Billy Bob Thornton, Paul Wesley, Daniel Cudmore, Serinda Swan, and Natalie Martinez and is due for release in January 2013, reports The Daily Mail.
