Tuesday saw the news that the R&B singer shared the track list from her upcoming album Unapologetic with her 26.5 million Twitter followers, US Weekly reports.
According to Rihanna, “Nobodies Business” is a duet with her possibly on-again love, Chris Brown. It’s the third collaboration of the former couple this year – in early 2012, they teamed up for the racy “Birthday Cake,” as well as the remix of Brown’s “Turn Up the Music.”
Just hours after the announcement, the Unfaithful songstress released a sneak peek of the Michael Jackson-inspired, CB-infused tune on YouTube so fans could get a taste of the pop ‘n’ B track, E! Online reports.
“You’ll always be the one that I wanna come on to/Boy let me love you and show you how’s spice show you off/I wanna be your baby, you’ll always be my baby/Tell me what you want now,” Rihanna sings, while Brown belts out “Me and you/ Said ain’t no nobody’s business” on repeat.
Brown’s recent breakup with model Karrueche Tran, and his and Rihanna’s recent hanging out it seems as though the two are ready to be more open about their controversial reunion.
Soon after the Don’t Wake Me Up Singer confirmed he had split from Tran in October, the R&B singer shared a video message with his own Twitter followers, entitled, “The Real Chris Brown.”
In the clip, he admits his being “a little drunk,” but that he wants to clarify a few things about falling back in love with Rihanna while still dating Tran, 23.
“When you share with history with somebody, then you tend to fall in love with somebody else, it’s kinda difficult,” he says. “Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that.”
Unapologetic is scheduled to be release on November 19. For the upcoming album, the 24-year-old singer has also worked with David Guetta, Eminem, Future and Mikky Ekko.
On Thursday, Rihanna will take part in a Facebook Live chat at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET to kick off the highly anticipated release of the album.
The news of the Rihanna and her ex’s collaboration comes soon after famous band “The Wanted” has admitted that they’re seriously thinking about collaborating with Chris Brown – despite the fact that he was charged with assaulting the beauty back in 2009.
“Chris Brown really wants to get in the studio with us and we’re going to go out there before Christmas to sing and write,” Jay McGuiness said.
“I think it’s been really hard for him to shake it (Brown’s assault charge). I mean, we’ll possibly get a backlash. He still gets a lot of flak for everything that’s gone on.”
“We are nervous,” the singer added. “But if the song’s a good song it’s our song as much as it is his as well, but, yeah, it’s something we’re definitely thinking about.”
