‘The Boys’: Cassie Steals the Show in Sexy Swimsuit as she Joins Nicki Minaj [Video]

The duo proudly strut their stuff to boys’ amusement, touching each other intimately in some scenes.

Cassie joined Nicki Minaj in the video for “The Boys,” and the two were having fun on primary covers, bikinis, thongs and kick drums.

However, Minaj certainly didn’t expect Cassie Ventura to steal the show in her high cut white swimsuit. Nevertheless, it looks like the girls were having fun as they filmed the video for The Boys.

The bubblegum-styled video was directed by Colin Tilley who has previously directed the video for the other Minaj’s hit “I Am Your Leader”.

The video opens with a newspaper headline ‘Barber shop burns down after “freak” flame thrower accident.’

“The Boys” video is kicked off with the rapper riding on an orange race car and crashing it into a building. Following that Cassie entered the pink land scene with her androgynous look.

“Not to be outdone by Cassie, Nicki makes sure to show off her famous curvaceous form in a tiny string bikini as she poses next to a bizarre ‘T-rex’ motorized tricycle,” writes The Daily Mail.

The femcee is rapping: “Dollar dollar paper chaser / Get that money, yeah yeah / You get high love a bunch of girls / And then cry on top of the world / I hope you, have the time of your life / I hope I, don’t lose it tonight.”

By the way, the music video includes some scenes showing the two touching each other intimately and Minaj going down on Cassie.

“The bold 29-year-old delivers a nonsensical, candy-coated daydream of a video where the pair ask in the chorus ‘why the boys are always spending all their money on love?” the tabloid adds.

A Huffington Post article reads: “The track is actually interesting because it vacillates from rap song to some version of a downtempo singer-songwriter tune.”

“The video dances through moods in a similar fashion, assaulting the viewer with doses of Minaj’s frenetic, craven Barbie personality, Cassie’s street-chic stunting and both of them gazing longingly into the camera.”

The just released piece of fun is for the new song which is Nicki’s first single from Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up, the re-release of her sophomore album due in stores in November 19.

“We still have singles to roll out on that album … for instance, ‘Va Va Voom’ was [just] added into rotation in the U.K., so I can’t treat it like my stepchild just yet,” Nicki told MTV News, explaining why she didn’t release a brand-new project.

“But there’s new kids on the way, so I kind of wanted to be fair to the old songs and be fair to the new songs.”

“It’s a different feel, so I knew I had to put it on a separate disc, the new songs, but it wasn’t an entire new thought and new body of work,” she continued.

“Because I like to give a lot of music, and so that’s why I didn’t want to do a whole new project. Because then I would feel like it would be judged as a brand-new thing, and then I would need to add way more songs.”

The Boys video is predicted to be able to compete with the previous Minaj’s hit made in collaboration with the teen star Justin Bieber.

It has recently broke a VEVO record with his “Beauty and a Beat” music video which has been views around 10.6 million times in just 24 hours after its premiere on VEVO.

Earlier this year, the rapper’s “Stupid Hoe” music video collected 4.8 million views, the highest single-video VEVO number in 24 hours ever.
