Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet for the “On The Road” premiere during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival for the first time since her cheating scandal broke.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Stewart certainly didn’t try to blend into the background on the red carpet.

The 22-year-old actress strutted her stuff in a very sexy and sheer long-sleeved black lace dress by Zuhair Murad, with colorful hand-beaded floral embroidery. The dress is from the designer’s fall/winter 2012 couture collection.

Kristen wore her hair up and pulled completely off her face. And she wore a hairpiece.

People reports that the actress was greeted Thursday evening at the Toronto International Film Festival by hoards of enthusiastic fans yelling, “Kristen, I love you!” and cheers of support.

Stewart, making no referring to the scandal, told Reuters that the support from fans was “amazing” and said she was thankful “to know that everyone is here.”

When asked how she was doing, Stewart said just, “I’m fine.”

However, the actress, who was promoting her new film On the Road, stuck to questions about the movie. During a Q&A after the screening, Stewart said playing the emotional side of her character, Marylou, was the most difficult thing about the role.

“She loved so openly – and that’s hard,” said Stewart.

“I’ve loved this book since I was 14,” Stewart told reporters.

Meanwhile, her estranged boyfriend Robert Pattinson appeared with Taylor Lautner, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and other members of the Twilight cast to present a new 90-second clip of Breaking Dawn: Part 2 at the MTV Video Music Awards in downtown L.A.

Before introducing the clip, Pattinson thanked his supporters.

“It’s been an amazing journey and we’d like to thank all the fans of the series for your incredible enthusiasm from the beginning until now,” he said.

In July, Stewart was photographed in the arms of father-of-two Sanders, breaking not only the hearts of his wife Liberty Ross and her long-term love R-Patz – but loyal fans across the globes, recalls Daily Mail.

Robert Pattinson has since returned to the limelight, squirming his way through various appearances as he promotes new David Cronenberg film Cosmopolis, while avoiding questions on K-Stew at all cost.

British model Liberty also ventured out, making a statement by removing her wedding ring.

In the meantime, it remains to be seen if Robert and Kristen will both attend the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, with the release date due in just two months time on November 16.
