Boo, World’s Cutest Dog, Is Now Official Pet Liaison for Virgin America [Gallery]

In addition to his title ‘The world’s cutest dog’, the adorable Pomeranian now has got another one of the world’s cutest airline ambassador.

The furry celebrity has just accepted a post as Official Pet Liaison for Virgin America Airlines. The airline may be proud of its new spokesperson, or spokesdog.

To celebrate the new title, Boo and his friend Buddy jetted over to the San Francisco International Airport for a fantastically furry photo shoot.

Photos of Boo on board of an airline’s mood-lit aircraft at San Francisco International Airport were posted on Virgin’s Facebook page Wednesday, touting Boo as its newest executive.

“As a pet-friendly airline we want our guests — those on two legs and those on four — to have as comfortable and enjoyable experience as possible on Virgin America,” Virgin America spokeswoman Abby Lunardini told The Huff Post.

The airline’s travelers will be also able to get some pet-friendly travel pieces of advice from Boo in the months to come. By the way, the company accepts pets in the Main Cabin of their aircrafts. Despite it’s forbidden to get cats and dogs put with checked baggage, they are allowed to be carried on.

Virgin America must be relieved to have been able to snap up Boo for its team, especially after the worldwide known pooch was the victim of a twitter death hoax back in April, claiming he had died in his sleep or drowned in a duck pond.

Tweets included: “Boo The Dog Has Died,” another said: “OK, so I just saw the photo of Boo dead in the duck pond. It’s horrible. Poor little thing. I’m tearing up.”

Upset fans left their tributes: “I don’t know that I believe it… Boo is dead? This is traumatizing,” and “I’m also very sad to hear of the passing of the internet’s most adorable dog, Boo. You will live forever on the Internet.”

However, it was found out that the world’s most famous dog ‘was just taking a nap’. To prove that everything was okay, a picture of the sweet pooch was uploaded to his fan site along with a message from Boo himself.

“Hi friends! I heard the rumours, and I would like all my friends to know that I am happy and kickin! I asked a human if I could do a press conference to reassure everyone on camera, but she reminded me that I can’t talk,” the message read.

Boo’s Facebook page was launched in 2009, and since then it has gone viral, receiving thousands of new fans a day, writes The Daily Mail.

His first post on the Facebook account was the next one: “My name is Boo. I am a dog. People love me!” Yet, there is more to his story.

The dog has also attracted the attention of Hollywood ladyes such as TV-star Khloe Kardashian, who posted a picture of the dog on her blog last year and singer Ke$ha, who Tweeted that Boo was ‘her new boyfriend.’

The pooch’s fans wish him good luck in his new occupation: “I love you Boo and keep up with you online all the time.I also have your book and plush dog.I also have pictures of you on my living room wall.Keep up the good work!!!”

“Awww Boo you are the cutest little sell out ever! Haha only joking! His little face will brighten up the airports anyway!”
