Rihanna Covers ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ August 2012, Opens Up Her Attitude to Falling in Love [Gallery]

The singer rocks a Calvin Klein dress and Neil Lane bracelet on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar‘s August 2012 cover.

Rihanna graces the cover of the Harper’s Bazaar’s August issue in a white-hot look and wears looks from Emporio Armani, Tom Ford, Alexander Wang and Balmain for her fashion editorial.

In the interview to the magazine the singer reveals the truth of how her butt is “not living up to its full potential,” and opens up how she feels about falling in love and her collaboration with the ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.

When asked about her being in love, Ri Ri says she’s not as bad of a girl as people think she is. “(I am) rebellious through my music, through my fashion, tattoos, and my hair,” she says.

“I have been conservative in my love life… it’s pretty much nonexistent. If I come across someone who I find really cool, I’ll hang out. But the minute I find that we’re getting too close I just — I don’t let people in.”

Rihanna also mentions that she “no idea” that her recent collaboration with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown for her “Birthday Cake” remix would cause waves of rumors and negative reviews and says she went ahead with the project because she’s moved past that pain, writes Bet.

“The fans could have said, ‘We don’t want anything to do with it,'” Rihanna tells Harper’s Bazaar. “I understood that people had every right to be concerned about it. But I didn’t see it that way because I’m in a different place.”

The “Unfaithful” singer goes on and reveals that her incident with Brown in 2009 has become a turning point for her and made her be more wise when it comes to trusting and allowing herself to fall in love again.

“When I was in love, I fell so hard. I was really, really, really in love. The way it made me feel was priceless. And in a blink of an eye my whole life changed. Everything that I knew was different. I never thought I’d feel that pain in my life, I’m afraid of feeling that again.”

In addition to all the revelations, Rihanna who has slimmed down a size zero during the past few months, opens up that she completely lost her glutes.

“I miss my *ss. It just went away!” Rihanna tells the August 2012 issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “I need a butt. I have an idea of one, but it’s not living up to its full potential right now,” she confesses.

“I don’t know if there’s something going on with my body right now, but I’m eating everything in life!” says the Barbados-born beauty, who previously admitted she was self-conscious about her (previously) thick thighs.

Despite her wish not to be too thin, the singer works out intensely and follows a diet to stay in shape.

“I’m insecure about [my legs],” Rihanna has recently told Vogue. “Everyone wants to have slim, perfectly-toned legs and I’m the same. I do weights but I don’t want my legs to bulk up so I do a lot of cardio.”

She went on: “I’ve lost a lot of weight since I started working out and if I exercise every day for a week, I can drop several pounds. If I diet, I see even faster results. Cardio is the key….a lot of running on the treadmill.”

“I have a personal trainer who travels with me if we have a big event coming up. I work out every day but I need a trainer to motivate me,” the singer added.
