The 39-year-old actress/model/advocate Jenny McCarthy appears in her birthday suit for the cover of the July/August edition of Playboy, nearly two decades after she first posed for the magazine.

According to MTV, the blonde bombshell is featured on the cover of the July/August issue wearing nothing but some black knee-high tights and coordinating fingerless fishnet gloves.

McCarthy strategically crosses her legs and covers her breasts with her hands as she poses nude on the new cover.

The pictorial will be McCarthy’s seventh since 1993, when she first appeared in the October issue for a paltry $20,000 US before becoming a Playmate of the Month and eventually Playmate of the Year.

The 39-year-old  host of NBC’s “Love in the Wild” told People magazine that this particular photo shoot was particularly special because of the classy factor.

“I’m really proud of it,” McCarthy told the magazine.

“The pictures are really gorgeous and classy. They could be out of W magazine. They’re really elegant. It’s probably a lot more sophisticated than a lot of the stuff you’d see of people with their clothes on.”

“The one thing I like about Playboy is they don’t have the anorexic look,” she says. “The women are voluptuous. So I didn’t really want to diet. I just wanted to tone up.”

“I did it 20 years ago in 1993. It was kind of on my bucket list to do it again before I turned 40,” McCarthy said during an appearance on “The Wendy Williams Show” last week.

“I’m so tired of seeing just the20 year olds being considered sexy. I was like, ‘MILFS are hot, too.’ I’m getting better with age,” she said, according to Vancouver Sun.

Soon after McCarthy made her Playboy debut in 1993, she went on to be named Playmate of the Month and Playmate of the Year.

Later MTV enlisted McCarthy to co-host our popular ’90s dating show “Singled Out,” which officially put her on the pop culture map.

McCarthy used her fame into multiple roles in television series and film, including two of her own self-titled sitcoms.

In recent years she has become more well-known for her work as an activist for autism awareness, on behalf of her own autistic son Evan and the challenges and preconceptions associated with parenting autistic children.

The 39-year-old also made headlines from her four-year relationship with Jim Carrey.

As she’s months away from turning the big 4-0 in November, McCarthy says life in the bedroom has only gotten better with time, writes NY Daily News.

“This point in my life has been the most fun, sexual extravaganza,” the host of NBC’s “Love in the Wild,” who has been dating Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher, says.

“The orgasms are night-and-day better. I feel 100 billion times more sexual, and that comes out in this pictorial.”

In addition to the cover photo, McCarthy appears in an eight-page photo spread inside the magazine.
