Will Smith Slaps Reporter for Kissing Him at ‘Men in Black 3’ Premiere [Video]

Will Smith slapped a reporter at the premiere of ‘Men In Black’ sequel in Moscow, Russia.

Will Smith was walking a press line at the premiere of ‘Men In Black’ sequel in Moscow, Russia when a reporter stopped him to give him a hug and attempted to kiss him.

“Hey man, what the hell is your problem?” Smith exclaimed, and pushed him away, before slapping the man in the face. “He tried to kiss me on my mouth!”

“He’s lucky I didn’t sucker punch him,” Smith added. “I’m so sorry,” one of his shocked female handlers said. “No, no. It’s all good,” Smith said with a laugh as he moved on to the next interview.

The reporter – looking like a wannabe wiseguy in a black shirt, white tie and white suit – quickly escaped without any comments. According to TMZ, the man who tried to kiss Will is a television reporter who often kisses celebrities – it’s his schtick.

A source on scene revealed, the reporter’s mouth brushed up against Will’s and that’s why the actor reacted so violently. “His hand flew up. He did not want to hit or punish the guy. It was a light incident. Nothing was delayed and no one was escorted out. Will laughed it off and moved on.”

Despite the incident, Will stayed positive … and happily continued to sign autographs for fans and do red carpet interviews.

The try-to-kiss-celebrity reporter is best known for playing a prank on Madonna by presenting the singer with Hydrangeas, her most loathed flower.

The singer was later caught on camera after the incident at Venice Film Festival last year, telling her assistant that she hated them.

The incident follows just days after Smith said he agrees with President Obama’s support of gay marriage.

The actor told reporters in Berlin on Monday that “if anybody can find someone to love them and to help them through this difficult thing that we call life, I support that in any shape or form.”

Smith added that Obama’s support for gay marriage was a “brave” move in an election year.

By the way, last week saw the wave of rumors claiming that the actor and his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, are on the rocks yet again.

However, the 43-year-old actor assured that the constant divorce rumors, which surfaced last summer, are “just a part of the game.”

“With that type of stuff, you can’t take that personally. It’s just a game,” Smith said. “I can understand where somebody would have something in their heart where they need to stab at somebody, where they need to poke at somebody. But I’m indestructible.”

Earlier this month, Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, told French magazine Gala that although she and Smith spend time apart for work, the divorce speculation is “ridiculous”:

“Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it’s us! I almost want to say that we should have been expecting it,” she said.

“Will and I know the truth. We’re waiting peacefully for the storm to blow over,” Jada added, writes The Huff Post.

The star couple have two kids, Jaden and Willow, whose respective careers have been speculated to be the cause of the Smiths’ marital problems. Smith has one son from a previous marriage.
