The TV star told the hosts of CBS’s The Talk on Thursday, reacting to false rumors that she recently suffered a miscarriage: “Lamar [Odom] and I do want kids and it will happen when it’s in God’s plan to happen.”
Khloe also explained that Odom’s recent career changes – being traded from the L.A. Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks and then leaving the Mavs – have not been conducive to starting a family.
“With the trade – moving back and forth – there is a reason we don’t have a newborn baby right now,” she said. And the reason is also not because of another inaccuracy being reported about her, writes PEOPLE.
“If I was having fertility treatments I would share with the world,” said the star, who added she would be open about her issues to show young women that it’s common. “It’s so hurtful and discouraging to women needing fertility treatments.”
However, when asked about her sisters’ private life, specifically Kim Kardashian’s blossoming relationship with musician Kanye West, Khloe responed:
“Honestly, we’ve known Kanye forever. He’s been a great family friend. I love Kanye. I don’t know what happens with Kim.”
She kept on talking: “I love Kanye. I think they’re cute together. I’ve said that, but, honey, I don’t know. You got to get her on the show and ask. Why don’t you get them both on the show ask them together?”
“I think Kim and Kanye have known each other for a long time. I think that they’re good friends and they’re compatible. I think a friendship is where good relationships stem from,” she added.
“He’s always been a great friend to Kim. Let them hang out and see what happens,” she said. “The best relationships come from friendships.”
Last week faced the wave of rumors that Kim Kardashian is dating one of the most outspoken rappers in the music industry.
“They’ve been friends for years,” the source explains of the two who were seen getting cozy during Paris Fashion Week last month. “Kim is ready to give it a try now.”
“Kim and Kanye have now just started dating,” another source close to the situation confirmed. The new couple is keeping things “light” for the moment, but “they’re seeing where it goes,” the insider added.
The pair has been recently spotted going on a movie date in NYC to see The Hunger Games.
“Their night continued with a visit to “Sleep No More,” a popular interactive theater experience loosely based on Shakespeare’s “Macbeth,” the insider revealed.
Kardashian, 31, and West, 34, haven’t been shy about their admiration for one another. The rapper has made several appearances on Kardashian’s E! reality shows, while Kardashian has shown her support by attending West’s presentation at Paris Fashion Week last month.
In his new song, “Thera Flu,” the rapper professes his love for Kardashian while also taking a dig at Humphries, who plays for the New Jersey Nets, owned by good friend Jay-Z:
“I admit I fell in love with Kim/’Round the same time she fell in love with him/That’s cool, babygirl, do your thing/Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”
