Woman Claims Lindsay Lohan Confronted Her at LA Nightclub

Police in Los Angeles are investigating a woman’s claim that Lindsay Lohan got into an altercation with her at a nightclub a week after her probation was lifted.

Insiders told reporters that the actress, 25, got in a disagreement with a fellow party-goer on Thursday night after she made it clear she wasn’t happy with the female talking to her male friend, The Daily Mail writes.

Police officials promised they will investigate the woman’s claims to determine whether she’s lying or not. “It’s just an allegation,” Sgt. Chris Bowman said. “It’s been received by our detectives.”

The accuser, whose name was not released, filed a police report but no arrests have been made.

As for Lohan, Steve Honig, the actress’ representative assured that the statements are false: “Lindsay was absolutely not involved in any sort of altercation whatsoever. This is clearly another case of someone looking for money and 15 minutes of fame.”

If the allegation had been made last month, before Lohan was released from the strict rules of supervised probation, it might have become a probation violation leading to jail time.

Lohan spokesperson asked why the woman waited until Saturday to file a complaint. “You have to wonder about someone who calls the media before the police,” Mr Honig said.

A judge gave Lohan a fresh start on getting her life together just two weeks ago by ending her supervised probation. The starlet will remain on probation for a misdemeanor shoplifting conviction, but without the strict reporting requirements of the two felony drunken driving convictions.

Her probation was lifted last week after four years, with the judge urging Lohan that she needs to ‘stop clubbing’.

“I know it’s hard when people are following you all over the place, but that’s the life you chose,” Judge Sautner told Lohan, advising her to “live your life in a more mature way, stop the nightclubbing and focus on your work.”

“Lindsay is already talking about her next few projects,” Steve Honig wrote in a statement after the hearing. “She is ready to start the next chapter in her life and get back to work and doing what she loves to do — making movies.”

However, the judge’s warning hasn’t stopped the actress from enjoying the A-list scene. She was spotted enjoying an evening at Pour Vous with a group of friends, reportedly including Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight star left the venue soon after the actress did, which caused rumors that they might have been partying together.

It was not the first time Lindsay had been seen partying since being told her probation has been lifted. The actress threw a party to celebrate her freedom at the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood that very evening.

Last month, a nightclub manager in Hollywood accused her of grazing him with her Porsche. The actress denied the accusation and no charges have been filed. But the matter could end up in a civil court, where Lohan is already being sued by two other people for auto-related incidents.

Lohan is also being sued by a woman who claims she was struck by the star’s car while walking in West Hollywood, and by a former Betty Ford worker who was involved in an altercation with the actress during her three-month stay at the facility in late 2010.
