According to recent reports, Tim Tebow has been approached to be the next Bachelor, host Chris Harrison said Monday.
“I’ve actually met Tim Tebow. I met him about becoming our next Bachelor,” Harrison told Access Hollywood Live co-host Kit Hoover during an appearance on the radio show. “I think he’d be a great Bachelor.”
When asked about Tebow’s reaction by co-host Kit Hoover, Harrison responded: “Well, they always say yes, but it never happens. He’s a really good guy.”
“He did say yes – but he would never do it,” Harrison added. “He has a little job called quarterback at least for another year.”
Tebow has recenty been linked to Taylor Swift, though neither has confirmed a relationship more than friendship. Denver Bronco’s quarterback has been quite busy using his celeb status to help others. Right before Valentine’s Day he spent time with children at the Challengers Boys & Girls Club in Los Angeles.
When asked about his plans, Tebow responded: “I’ll just be around my brothers and friends. We’ll just have good time. And also find a little time to relax.”
He added: “So many time in today’s society, we can get caught up in Xboxes, video games, watching TV and forget about reading, about educating yourself and learning how to communicate with people. I just think that’s so important.”
So, after that, it would be very hard to imagine Tebow going on a TV show that specializes in speed-dating a large group of women in often very sexual situations.
Tebow’s faith contradicts what ‘The Bachelor’ promotes: good times, plenty of alcohol, and plenty of compromising situations, The Christian Post writes. “Yes, I’m saving myself for marriage,” Tebow once told reporters.
A source close to Tebow revealed, “He’s an avowed virgin who’s saving himself for marriage and is looking for a woman with similar values…”
Tim was rumored before as a possible contestant in the upcoming season of ‘Dancing with the Stars’. However, his representative, quickly stopped the speculation as saying, “Tim does not have any interest in participating in the show.”
As for ‘The Bachelor’ itself, it is close to wrap its 16th season. ‘Women Tell All’ special is aired this Monday, while the finale will follow next week.
Recently, Tebow packed nearly 4,000 people into a Las Vegas church service on Saturday where the young Christian spoke about the “Tebowing” craze, football and his faith, The Huffington Post reveals.
“I am sure I am not the first athlete to pray though,” Tebow said to the church-goers about the “Tebowing” fad.
“What is funny is I have been doing this exact same routine for the last seven years and this is the first people started talking about it and it became a thing.”
“It was a dream come true,” said Zach Fischer, 15, a self-described Broncos super fan. “He talked about his faith, he talked about football, he talked about growing up and covered a little bit of everything. It was worth every penny.”
