Nicole (Snooki) Polizzi may just have a tiny tot in the oven. According to the reports, the ‘Jersey Shore’ Star is expecting her first child with boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
“Sources said the reality star, who denied being preggers earlier this month, has already brokered a deal to announce the news on the cover of Us Weekly after she shopped the story to several celebrity magazines,” claims The New York Daily News.
The celebrity waited to make a public announcement until she reached the three-month mark in her pregnancy, TMZ says. “At this time, we are not commenting,” a rep for Polizzi told reporters Wednesday morning.
“I got [the pregnancy rumor started] because I was in Vegas, at one of the clubs… and I didn’t want to drink,” Snooki said recently, when reports of her pregnancy first began circulating.
Though the “Jersey Shore” star was rumored to be pregnant in January, she quickly shot down the reports and insisted she was not with child.
“I definitely do want kids, but I’m not pregnant,” Polizzi revealed earlier this month. “Being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing, and I’m not.”
Baby or no baby, it’s definitely a time for change for the self-proclaimed “meatball.” She and co-star Jenni “JWoww” Farley have begun filming on their “Jersey Shore” spinoff series in Jersey City, N.J, says Access Hollywood.
Back in October Snooki told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover she has very specific plans for marriage and motherhood.
“I have a timeline and at 26, I do want to be married because I don’t want to be an old fart when my kids are like 18 in high school, you know?” Snooki said at the time. “I want to be a MILF.”
A spokesperson for MTV would not comment on the pregnancy, only saying that “Nicole and Jenni began filming last week and moved into their new digs with animal print furniture in tow. Things are going great thus far.”
Sourced added that MTV is thinking how to manage the news, given that Polizzi’s hard-partying, booze-swilling ways have just been turned into a “Jersey Shore” spinoff with Jenni “JWoww” Farley, which has begun shooting in New Jersey.
“MTV went into crisis mode after they found out,” said a source. “They’re trying to hide it because it would greatly affect the creative direction of the show.”
The untitled new show has just begun taping and focuses on the ladies’ relationship as friends and roommates — and whatever adventures come their way.
Snooki told revealed that the new show would go in a different direction to Jersey Shore.
“It’s going to be me and Nicole living in a house: our ups and downs, and our relationships with our boyfriends who we love dearly, our families – who are just insane! – and our friends who you really don’t get to see on (Jersey Shore),” said Farley, 25.
“We want it to be different than Jersey Shore, so it’s not always going to at the club, drinking and partying,” she said. “It’s the first time I’m going to be on my own for real. You’ve only seen the party side of us.”
