The actress/singer refused to share some secrets with reporters but she missed her flight back to Los Angeles from Hawaii where she was having a vacation.
E! News has reported that Ms Lohan also missed taping that was scheduled to air on Thursday, December 15.
The 25-year-old actress intended to show a series of exclusive images from the saucy new shoot, which were to appear in the January/February issue of Playboy, but, unfortunately for Lohan, the photos leaked online last week.
In the photos the actress represents her heroine Marilyn Monroe, sporting platinum blonde hair and posing provocatively.
In the interview for Playboy Lindsay Lohan shares her problems: “Looking back, I probably would have listened to and taken more advice from the people whom I admire and would have followed through with it more,” she told the magazine.
“My stubbornness at 18 and 19 years old got in the way. During the past five years, I’ve learned that time flies faster than you think, and because you only live once, you have to learn from your mistakes, live your dreams and be accountable.”
Despite she’s been spending her vacation in Hawaii, these days were uneasy for her. First of all she managed to lose her $5,000 Chanel purse that contained her passport, court documents and $10,000 in cash – and, in addition to this, she’s missed her flight back to Los Angeles.
“Lindsay had a travel-related issue arise that took a few hours to sort out,” Lohan’s representative, Steve Honig, told the reporters. “It has been resolved and she will be back in Los Angeles in time for her court appearance.”
He added that the Rachel Wilcox of “Georgia Rule” offered to tape the interview with host Ellen DeGeneres on Wednesday, “but the show was unable to shift things around, and tomorrow is their last day of taping for the season.”
A source revealed that having missed a morning flight Lohan was booked on an afternoon flight and hoped to be back as soon as possible.
Having missed “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is not even Lohan’s biggest problem. The singer was having court first thing the next day morning for a progress hearing.
Lohan was adjudicated to 30 days in jail last month for not following the terms of her previous probation, after drunken driving case and a misdemeanor grand theft case filed after she took a $2,500 necklace without permission from a store.
She spend in jail even less than five hours, but she has to complete 53 days of community service at the county morgue and 18 45-minute psychotherapy sessions by March 29, 2012.
If Lohan violates the terms of her new probation this time, she will be forced to serve about 270 days in jail.
Lohan’s representative Steve Honig told reporters that, “She’s working very diligently to keep up her days so she can finish up with probation.”
Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner Wednesday admitted the singer was doing well under strict new terms of her probation and urged her to keep on doing it: “You’re doing well and I’d like to see it continue.”
“Do more days a month and we can end this in February, possibly,” Sautner promised. The judge said Lohan should keep reporting to court in person to make sure she remains on track.
