Jennifer Aniston Named ‘Sexiest Woman of All Time’ by Men’s Health Magazine

It’s been a good year for Jennifer Aniston, with success at the box office and in her personal life – and, to cap off 2011, she’s been named the ‘Sexiest Woman of All Time’ by Men’s Health magazine.

Jennifer Aniston has been named by ‘Sexiest Woman of All Time’ by Men’s Health magazine. She eclipsed Raquel Welch, screen legend Marilyn Monroe, pop icon Madonna, pop singer Britney Spears and actress Angelina Jolie.

The site explained: “Funny is sexy, and Jennifer Aniston is funny. Her down-to-earth persona makes her seem attainable. And her all-too-human love life off screen inspires sympathy that not even a string of bland romantic comedies can diminish.”

“Other sex symbols drift toward one-dimensionality, becoming flat icons in the process, but throughout her career Aniston has remained sexy, funny, and unmistakably real.”

Well, that’s true. Aniston is beautiful and sexy and both men and women adore her. And it is no surprise that  people consider her to be the most perfect woman ever.

Nevertheless, she is also proven to sell magazines when put on the cover, rising above Scarlett Johansson’s and Mila Kunise’s of the entertainment mediaverse. So, that is why, like Kim Kardashian, are on the tabloids each week, even when the stories are pure speculation.  They sell off the stands.

However, reactions by commenters have been different. People wrote: “Oh, my god, you guys must be joking!”, “How is she funny, Men’s Health? And if that is what you’re basing it on there are a ton of much funnier, better actresses out there” and “How much did she pay for this?”

Although the beauty plays a flirtatious (to put it mildly) dentist in this year’s movie  ‘Horrible Bosses,’ she revealed the magazine she doesn’t always play a siren on screen.

“The least sexy character [I’ve played] was Jeannie Bueller on the TV version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” she said.

When asked which of the characters she’s played was the least sexy, Aniston said: “The least sexy character was Jeannie Bueller on the TV version of Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.”

The beauty who is currently dating actor Justin may have lost her Sexiest husband, Brad Pitt, to Angelina, but Jennifer overtook her rival by 9 spots on the coveted list.

Although Brad Pitt, who raises six children with Jolie, considers Jennifer Aniston as a ‘dear friend’, her camp says they don’t speak.

After having broken with Pitt, Jennifer hasn’t had much luck in the romance sphere. The boyfriends kept coming and going with alarming regularity. This year, luckily, things have sure turned around for the actress. Her relationship with Justin Theroux is quite strong, and the couple is now happily living together.

The Friends star admitted French actress Brigitte Bardot and feminist Gloria Steinem top her own list.

She said: “It’s a tie between Bridgitte Bardot and Gloria Steinem. But if I had to choose one, I’d say Gloria because, well, she’s the full package. That’s sexy.”

Meanwhile, the hottest star explained what she considers attractive in a man and aside from great “abs”, an “accurately sized ego” makes her tick.

She said: “Sexiest thing about a man-other than abs-is if he can make me laugh, has compassion, kindness, and an accurately sized ego.”

Rounding out the top 10 on the sexiest list by Men’s Health magazine are Pamela Anderson, Bettie Page, Ursula Andress, Jane Fonda and Angelina Jolie. Aniston next stars in Wanderlust opposite Paul Rudd, to be released Feb. 24, 2012. [Via Nzherald and People]
