Boo the Dog is Definitely the Cutest Dog in the World

The five-year-old Pomeranian, Boo, shot to fame in 2009 when his own Facebook Page was launched by his US owner.

His owner, who has concealed her identity and location in the U.S. and uses the pseudonym J.H Lee told Time: ‘My friends loved looking at pictures of him.

‘We started the first Facebook page as a joke.’

His adorable appearance is the result mainly the unusual haircut he was given following an accident — his fur was so long and tangled that it had to be shaved off.

Lee said: “The groomer said they wouldn’t even be able to get a brush through him.

“I was really upset when I heard that.

“But when I picked him up, I found he was actually really cute that way.”

Boo now has more than 2 million Facebook “likes” on his page Fan sites have been created and Boo has received significant press.

Kim Kardashian found Boo on Facebook in October 2010 and shared the discovery on her blog. Since then, Boo’s popularity has exploded. She wrote:

“OMG, I just discovered this dog named Boo on facebook and I am seriously in LOVE. I obviously had to share the amazingness with all of you LOL. If you’re on facebook, go like this page because it’s beyond cute! I want this dog!!!”

Boo has been busy promoting his new book, a collection of photographs entitled ‘Boo, the life of the world’s cutest dog.’

The £8.99 book features exclusive photographs of Boo ‘doing all his favorite things, lounging around, playing with friends, exploring the whole wide world, and making those famous puppy-dog eyes.’
