Ashton Kutcher, whose debut on the show helped the re-configured sitcom bow to a massive audience of 27.8 million Americans on Monday, plays Walden Schmidt, an internet billionaire suffering from a broken heart after being getting dumped.

It is already revealed that Judy Greer will be popping by throughout the season to play Kutcher’s TV ex, Bridget. Now Entertainment Weekly reports that “True Blood” star Joe Manganiello will take on the role of her new beau.

A CBS spokesperson confirms that the 34-year-old actor is set to appear in an episode of the CBS show as the smoldering hot boyfriend of Bridget, the former wife of Ashton Kutcher’s Walden Schmidt.

Judy Greer is to make her first appearance in the second episode of the ninth season this Monday, September 26. Manganiello’s episode is set to air on October 24.

Fresh off Season 4 of ‘True Blood,’ Manganiello is still in tip-top shape to play Big Dick Richie in Steven Soderbergh’s ‘Magic Mike,’ a movie about male strippers. He’ll also pop up in a January episode of USA’s ‘White Collar.’

The ninth season premiere of ‘Two and a Half Men’ – the first to air since Charlie Sheen’s firing from the show – scored a gigantic 27.8m viewers this week.

Also joining the show in a guest role is Monika Smith, The Hollywood Reporter relays. An improv comedy vet, she’s best known for her role on MTV’s “Disaster Date.” [via Huff Post, Two-and-a-half-men, IMDB and Digital Spy]
