We’ve all seen magic acts with the Apple’s iPad before so this kind of stuff is certainly not a new idea. However, this video definitely took our attention and looks like one of the slickest and best performed iPad 2 magic sequences we’ve ever seen here at TheBlogIsMine. Playing on the upcoming iOS 5 release, Simon Pierro, a magician and performance artist, creates some pretty awesome illusions with his iPad 2.

While Simon Pierro is not really showing us a “beta version of iOS 5,” the platform that Apple is going to preview tomorrow at WWDC 2011, his iPad demo is magical nonetheless. Well, of course this is mere fun, but still the tricks in the video are nice and we can guarantee Apple is not going to show anything like that tomorrow.

However, it’s cool to see that you can bring things from the screen into the real world, learn to play tennis with the iPad and iOS 5, plus change weather and transport objects through space and time with the aid of FaceTime. All you need now is a particle accelerator to power your iPad and a bunch of programming aliens to write the software.

We, as Mashable’s Charlie White, especially like the way Simon demonstrates iOS 5’s new “space/time connection,” engaging in a special kind of streaming that you won’t soon forget. [Simon Pierro via Mashable]
