Jennifer Aniston Named The World’s Most Eligible Single Woman

Jennifer Aniston, the former Friends star, got almost a third of all the votes in a new poll.

The 41-year-old actress - who has been linked to the likes of Vince Vaughn, Brit model Paul Sculfor and Gerard Butler since her 2005 split from ex-husband Pitt - was named the most eligible single woman by respondents to "60 Minutes"/Vanity Fair's poll. Photo: Steve Granitz/

She’s been rejected by Brad Pitt, Vince Vaughn, John Mayer and, most recently, Cougar Town star Josh Hopkins. And apparently most men and women don’t understand why.

Halle Berry was in second place while Tiger Woods’s now ex-wife Elin Nordegren was in third place.

Aniston, 41, has been married to Brad Pitt and linked to actor Vince Vaughn, singer John Mayer and Hangover star Bradley Cooper.

She topped the poll by Vanity Fair/60 Minutes investigative show, with 29 per cent of the vote.

Twenty-seven per cent of men who participated in the poll voted for Aniston, while 32 per cent of female voters picked the actress star as the most eligible.

Former Bond girl Berry, who has recently split from her long term boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, was in second place with 29 per cent of the votes.

Former nanny Elin Nordegren, 31, who divorced Tiger Woods following his multiple affairs, was in third place with 15 per cent of the votes.

Veteran actress Betty White polled 11 per cent with singer Lady Gaga placed fifth with five per cent of the votes. [Vanity Fair via Daily Mail (UK) and CNN]
