The 2010 FIFA World Cup is almost here – it’s scheduled to take place between 11 June and 11 July 2010 in South Africa – and this well-designed typographic World Cup poster is totally getting us pumped for all the football action.
Designed by David Watson of Trebleseven Design, fans watching the World Cup can keep track of all the scores right on this appropriately colorful poster. All poster sale profits will benefit Soccer Aid | UNICEF. Soccer Aid raises money for UNICEF to help children around the world.
The front side of the poster shows all the groups, A-H, and its teams. A calendar runs down the right hand side, which lists all the matches to be played in the tournament. The reverse of the poster functions as a helpful World Cup calendar, showing what games are being played on each day. The poster was produced in collaboration with G&B printers and PhoeniXmotion paper.
The poster is available to buy directly from here – its only £7 + £3 P&P. Alternatively Magma all also selling it from their Clerkenwell / Covent Garden Shops. Go on, get one for the studio wall and do some good at the same time. See more images here. [Trebleseven Design and Counter Objects via Swiss Legacy and Form Fifty Five]
