A six-year-old Chinese boy was saved from dropping eight storeys by his ears, which prevented his head from completely sliding between window bars outside his home, reports the Daily Telegraph.

Adventurous Ming Ming, managed to get his head stuck in the bars of his home in Yichang, China. But rather than fall through completely, he became lodged between the grate due to his ears sticking out.

The boy is believed to have woken up alone after his grandfather left his home temporarily to run an errand. When he woke up, he is then thought to have fallen from the window while looking for his grandfather.
