Cheryl Cole has been named the world’s sexiest woman for the second year running. The newly-single star, who is rich as well as gorgeous, beat beauties such as Transformers star Megan Fox and underwear model Marissa Miller to top FHM’s 100 Sexiest Women in the World poll.

Cheryl Cole, with an estimated fortune of around £10m, split from her footballer husband Ashley earlier this year after stories about his alleged affairs surfaced and saucy photos of him taken on his mobile phone were sent to other women.
Despite her heartache, she has launched a chart-topping solo career and won the hearts of TV viewers on The X Factor.

Transformers star Megan Fox, 23, ended up in second place to Cole for the second year in a row, despite peeling off in the new Armani lingerie advertisements. Victoria’s Secret models Marisa Miller and Adriana Lima both featured prominently in the top ten. The highest new entry in the list – now in its 16th year – is Twilight actress Kristen Stewart who takes sixth place.

Frankie Sandford, of girl band The Saturdays, climbed 13 to number four, with just two of her four bandmates appearing in the top 100.

Past winners Kelly Brook and glamour model Keeley Hazell make the top 10, with Brook moving up from her 2009 position of 48 to take this year’s seventh spot. Hazell spends a second year at number five.
