GTSpirit has just revealed exclusive photos of Koenigsegg’s next supercar – the Koenigsegg Agera, a power miser boasting 910 horses and 811 lb-ft of torque. The Agera — the name is translatable in either Greek (“ageless”) or Swedish (“to act”).

That ultra-high performance is derived from Koenigsegg’s 4.7-liter V8 engine. Combine the power with a carbon-fiber composite structure limiting weight to just 2,832 lbs., and you get to 62 in just 3.1 seconds, double that in 8.9 seconds and don’t stop accelerating until you hit a whopping 245mph top speed.

Other features of the Agera include a removable hard-top, transversal paddleshift transmission with limited slip differential and traction control capable of altering settings based upon location and driving conditions.

Koenigsegg plans to produce 16 to 20 Ageras annually. The Koenigsegg Agera is set to debut at the 2010 Geneva auto show next week. [GTSpirit via Jalopnik]
