In a week full of 2010 Geneva Motor Show previews, Jaguar has unveiled the fastest Jaguar Ever: 2011 Jaguar XKR. The new 2011 Jaguar XKR gets more faster and is capable of speeds up to 174 mph.

Jaguar will debut two new special edition packages: the Black Pack and Speed Pack. The latter boosts the XKR’s 155 mph top speed to an electronically limited 174 mph by recalibrating controls for the 510 hp V8 and transmission.

In typical Jaguar fashion, the Speed Pack adds some cosmetic flair to the performance package. XKR Speed Pack models add a chrome finish to the window surrounds, mesh grille inserts, fender vent trim, and the trunk appliqué. Customers can choose from one of six colors, and if so desired, a side stripe.

For those who desire a little more luxury inside, customers can also spring for the “Black Pack,” available only on XKRs equipped with the Speed Pack. The Black Pack trims the window surrounds and grilles in a piano black finish, while adding charcoal leather to the interior. It’s expected that the 2011 XKR Speed Pack will make its world debut at the 2010 Geneva motor show in March. [via Automobile]
